@sunnys53132 жыл бұрын
Actually in most cases, the money from the red envelope you get from your relative needs to be passed to the relative’s kids. The actual red envelop money you can keep is from your parents, your grandparents and unmarried relatives. Also, the amount of money in the red envelop is usually a few hundreds to even thousands, which is too much for a young child to handle. My parents usually let me keep some like 100yuan as pocket money to spend during spring holidays when I was a child.

There are lots of other mums saying the same. Here in Norway, you learn to remove your shoes when you're at the age you start wearing them. I think the same goes for the rest of Scandinavia as well. And here we have lots of neighbours from other countries, from Russia and Middle east, ALL of them leave their shoes actually outside the door (!) (We leave them just inside the frontdoor. Walking in wearing shoes in Norway would have got you in big trouble, you would be considered as very disrespectful and impolite. I think NOT removing shoes is actually the rare. Seems to be an American thing.

Hello, can you explain to me that last joke about the red envelopes? 😅
@aster56003 жыл бұрын
@@MC-ku9lv children receive gift money from relatives but parents take it to "keep it safe" but in actuality they just take it and don't give it back. the joke was that while the red envelopes are for her son, she's happy because she keeps them all
