@@Lethgar_Smith Unfortunately, the bad side of herd-behavior doesn't only affect children, but also adults. They can be so adamant about what they believe that they see the opposite side as the enemy. 💔 But don't let the negativity of the fans get to you all. If that doesn't stop TwoSet from trying to educate them about classical music and the reality of toxicity in K-Pop fan culture, we shouldn't be discouraged by fan reactions either. 😊 The world is not only about black and white. It's okay to agree to disagree. And there is always a middle ground between the two extremes. Let's become a bigger person by showing it through our positive attitude. 😁👍

Dude! Pick something and start learning. Classical music is endless. My personal favourite is baroque music on baroque replica instruments in an historically informed style. It’s basically historical detective work to get as close as possible to how it would have been played at the time of writing. Other people love crossover classical rock or jazz or folk. Some love the mega scale works like Wagner, where you can’t even play the whole thing in a night. Or operas where you could swear people are doing the impossible. Or delicate choral work where you will definitely cry. There is something for everyone. I’m playing in a local adult orchestra for people who are not brilliant but are having a go. There are often groups like this around so you can jump in early on in learning, you don’t have to wait until you are brilliant your self. It’s also the fastest way to learn….just do it! 🤓

@@dees3179 Interesting. I was "introduced" to baroque music during one of my English class while in university. The lecturer mentioned something about baroque music and I was intrigue. Back then, there was still no Internet and I went to the music store to look up baroque and bought a cassette tape ... and that was how I was introduced to baroque classical music. I still don't play any instrument though 😆. Enjoy the discovery.

A postscript: I just watched TwoSet’s latest video about how even their 4mil concert got a copyright claim and how the system continues to fail them. They are distressed and angry about the situation-understandably. I’m saddened by this since I would like them to keep producing quality content instead of having to contend with preposterous claims. Such a contrast to their smart, charming, thoughtful selves when having lunch with Sumiko. My heart goes out to them.

I love TwoSet. Eddy & Brett are so creative, funny, talented and passionate about everything they do! They have exposed the toxic side of so many (definitely not all) KPop fans…..they want everyone to be kind, loving and accepting of their preferred group/artist while they themselves act cruel, mean and vitriolic. The Blackpink/Paganini roast video/diss track was hilarious! Comedy/teasing/satire does not necessarily equate with hatred/cruelty or disrespect. They should just ignore the toxic haters, move on and continue making their amazing content. I hope they don’t allow these bullies impact the type of content they create moving forward. If it were me, I would make more of that content as opposed to shying away from it……because I would never let toxic bully crybabies control my creativity or my expression.

Just because Bret and Eddy speak up for Paganini, it doesn't turn them into the bullseye for criticism and "sh*t throwing simualtor". Its also so strange that why Blackpink has no copyright issue when taking over Paganini work, but when 2setviolin did the same thing, they got called up? Wake up people, Blackpink doesnt own the piece, Paganini does. Maybe if we are too adore of Blackpink , shouldn't we at least show some respect for a dead person who create the track? The really great thing about them is that, while they do go hard on the memes and humour, they very much are serious violinists. Their KZbin work is intrinsically tied to an art that they have already applied in a mainstream profession and could always go back to.

So proud to be your supporter! I like Eddy’s interpretation about two actors portraying same roles differently. This, obviously you two would play the same piece in a different direction. I am not a musical instrument player, but I (probably) can recognize and appreciate the difference. Very grateful and glad that you two continue with educate us about classical music. Paying respect to original author is very important, be it classical, live action from anime, song cover, drama remake, fan fictions, etc. I like the analogy of half the sentence, wow, that drove me nut. No wonder it tickled many musicians, especially violinists. So proud that Strait Time interviewed you two. Looking forward to see more of your creativity!

@@drnithyaveeramuthu I have, I saw it when it live-streamed and twice since. Also KZbin channel MOACM (My Opinions About Classical Music) has 2 videos up, one on Bretts Mendelsohn performance the other on Eddy and his La Campanella , that are quite interesting- comparing the score and the video looking at some of the musical decisions they made and what she liked about it.

It was nice seeing TwoSet being just Brett and Eddy. On their channel they always have to be "on" and not necessarily just themselves. So you can only suspect that they *might* actually be good guys. But here, that really comes through as more than just a suspicion.

Once you've watched more and more of their videos you'll see that when they're not making viola jokes (they actually do like the viola) or other clearly exaggerated jokes, they're pretty dang genuine.

Ive always loved the incorporation of classical instruments into other genres of music, including electronic. But since recently discovering their channel, I feel like I'm learning so much about what it truly takes to be a classical musician and I've gained an even greater appreciation for it. Their goal of bringing classical music to the general audience is definitely succeeding as far as I'm concerned. On top of that, I love their dynamic. You can see they're truly friends and genuinely seem like such nice people. I am not at all familiar with Blackpink's music but loved their parody style music video. In no way should they have received the hate they received. I'd be interested to see the Blackpink artists address their fans behavior.

My best friend introduced me to TSV recently which is a pity. All this good content I could have had years ago... I'm not a musician (I learned piano a bit but didn't stick) but I love music and I love how accessible and HERE they make classical music. Thank you for that, you're gold. Love you guys
