(736) Golden Fluorescents with Catalyst Wedge Reveal Technique!

WELCOME to my fluid art channel! Today's video is on a 15" X 30" gallery profile canvas, gradient pattern using the Golden Fluorescent acrylic paints. Then I dried and covered the canvas with Dioxazine purple and used a #2 catalyst wedge to reveal the colors underneath. Make sure you stick around to see it under the black light!

Absolutely stunning can I make a little suggestion put some clear gloss medium on the edge of your tape and let it dry before painting you get clear crips lines no clean up… sorry if you know this already 🥰🥰🥰🥰

LOVE !!! Very cool !! Reminds me of grade school when we would make designs like this using a black crayon over top of bright colors lol. The #2 is my fave wedge, the tooth spacing is perfect for pretty lines & swirls. Love seeing all your work using the wedges, they add fun to creating beautiful art !! 💜💜💜💙💙💙😊😊

Are your paints generally thicker than that of a Dutch pour?

I do prefer thicker paints than most fluid artists and think my Dutch pours have thicker paint than most pours of the same type.

I love this technique but I just can’t seem to be able to make that ribbon look. Any suggestions? The video goes a little to fast to be able to see clearly how you hold the wedge etc. love your work.

Thank you, Michele! I don't do anything special but I think the wedge you use really makes a difference. I use the Princeton #2 catalyst wedge and love the look of it.
