(747) TWO DUTCH BLOOM POUR PAINTINGS ON VINES! ACRYLIC POURING TECHNIQUE

WELCOME to my fluid art channel! Today's acrylic pouring video is two Dutch bloom pour paintings on vines- one on black and the other on white. Of course the black is my favorite but what do you think? Both paintings are on 12" X 36" gallery profile canvas using Artist Loft Black, White and Golden Deep Gold Fine. Oh, I almost forgot...I also added a cell activator to the Dutch Blooms to see what would happen! lol! My cell activator recipe is 1 part Amsterdam Titanium White or Oxide Black mixed with 3-4 parts US Floetrol.

Although I usually like the black backgrounds better, this time it's the white one that I like a bit better (if I had to choose, lol) Both very elegant, I really like the minimalistic color, Lisa! I hope I'm not driving you nuts with all of my questions, but how did you mix your base up? I don't have a tube of Artist Loft white....just that big tub of AL soft body white....is that what you use? Also, do you think it would be ok to use JoSonja or Polycrylic in place of the Liquitex PM? I've always wondered....they are all thin and don't they all do the same thing basically?......thus, interchangeable for the most part maybe with little adjustments? thankyou 🖤🤍🤎

So, this is a Dutch Bloom (not a "real" bloom) and with this painting, there is not difference in the base and colors. I used a cell activator just to see what would happen. Not much happened. My mix for 90% of my pours, that aren't blooms including this one, is 1 part paint, 1 part Liquitex Gloss Medium, 2 parts Floetrol, water if needed (but I like my paints on the thick side and rarely add water.) Artist Loft brand is a craft paint, doesn't come in tubes, but does come in those big bottle things. I suggest you try using whatever you have on hand before spending money on new stuff. PS, the Liquitex Gloss Medium that I use is thick and is nothing like the JoSonja.
