This is one of the most useful tutorials I've ever watched. I've been experimenting with acrylics for the last year and never understood how people get acrylics to blend seamlessly when they are so heavy! This has helped me understand so much better, with the use of the fluid mixture and the wedge! Thank you so much!

Bless you and your claustrophobic time in your closet! Thank you so much for such a well put together, informative, gentle video. I have subscribed to your channel. So many people say they are giving a tutorial when in fact it is little more than "watch me paint". I have come away from your video feeling educated darling girl and for that I thank you.

So kind of you to share your technique. I'm not an abstract artist, but I loved the way you created that soft, blended background. From your video, I gather that in order to get the best out of an acrylic wedge, you would use it with fluid paints, not thick ones. So my Q is, can this work with oil paints? How would I make them more fluid? Just by adding oil? I have a feeling that might backfire 🤔

Wonderful video and a beautiful piece of art! Does it have a Title? It is really super of you to show the "behind the scenes" process. To blend colors with your fingers/hands, PLEASE use latex or nitrile gloves when you paint. Many pigments contain toxic (cancer causing) ingredients and will cause liver damage. In college, we were taught not to use your bare hands, eat, drink or smoke while painting. Beautiful art, but don't risk your health. You can also coat your hands with "Liquid Glove" if you want more contact. But never rub the paint into your bare skin.
