@A330Driver is there a way to manage Stepclimbs properly? With Simbrief I have created a flight plan with an inital step at FL310 and then FL390. No such information is available in the FMS and the initial EFOB is below zero.

Thank you. Is it possible to insert additional waypoints into the flight plan. Can you perhaps show it in a next video? Even if it is not a real scenario, that waypoints are added manually. How do real pilots that in the plane before depature? Are they loading the flightplan from an electronic flight bag into the mcdu?

Hello, Emmanuel and thank you for the tutorials. I have a curious issue with the flight plan. Now, this happens on every flight but as an example let's do LROP08R/LBSF09. Now, I perform the INIT REQUEST, load the flight plan from SimBrief, select my arrival as ILSZ09, GOL5D STAR via BENGO, no discontinuity and after I input ZFW, ZFWCG and BLOCK an amber dot appears near my destination in the flight plan after the /. What am I doing wrong?

The amber dot near your destination in the flight plan after the / typically indicates that there is a mismatch or missing data related to the fuel predictions or arrival setup in the MCDU. Do you load ZFW from SimBrief or use the EFB? Is your cruise altitude matched up with simbrief? Multiple things could be going on here!

Init request does not show up on the INIT page. The simbrief FP does download to the EFB. ANY ideas, anyone? These videos are really good but I cannot use them because of this issue.

press MCDUMENU button, than ATSU and enter your simbrief id into Pilot ID

@@gangwang4021 Ah, thank you! I like the FBW A320, but there is a lot of interest in this model so I am keen to try it out. I could have tried it by inputting everything into the MCDU manually, but that is very tedious.

Nice video just a question while about to decent im inputing the altititude and it wont go down unless i change the vs - selector to manually.For some reason the managed mode wont drop to the altitude

Hi, you got to push the altitude selector in after setting a lower altitude. It's not a Boeing that would descent on its own when passing the T/D.

Hey Emanuel, I have a small issue. When I enter my pilot ID on the EFB, it doesn’t accept and I can't sync any simbrief data on the EFB. But I can still upload flight plans via the FMC. It's wierd. Any advice?

Are you sure you're entering your ID (that's the number!) and not the username? If that doesn't work I suggest to contact support or post in the iniBuilds discord as they've built the plane.

On Xbox there is a issue, you cannot use the Xbox keyboard but you have to activate the EFB keyboard.

@@jackdaw556 Yeah one you put in your simbreif pilot ID on the tablet you also have to go onto the MCDU - find “MCDU MENU” - click “ATSU” and plug your simbreif pilot ID there too.

I figured it out. There is some bug if your plan has alternate airport. I removed it from plan and it worked

No, this is not possible. Creating a simbrief account is easy and free though, I really recommend to do it.

@@A330Driver When I go to the init page, there is no INIT Request option. It is blank. When I click on the button where it is supposed to be, INIT request shows up grayed out and I get the message "ERROR DOWNLOADING DATA"

Good video but maybe include the fact you have to add your simbrief pilot ID to the MCDU menu or you can't load a flight plan from simbrief. I'm now at the point where as soon as I input the flight number and cost index the whole FMC just locks up 😤

Anyone else having an issue with steering at touchdown and the APU never turning off?? My APU will (never) turn off once I turn it on. Also, This aircraft has made me a little more confident that a PMDG aircraft or the ATR72 might not be to hard to program a flight plan. I might buy more of these aircraft now that I got the ropes of a modern FMS on this aircraft.

Try using you simbrief alias, which you can find if you go to account settings on simbrief. I had the same problem and this fixed it.

The ini 320 is very nice but I don't understand why with AI traffic active on landing and taxi it loses a lot of Frame. The 310 does it too, they suffer from stutter in certain situations Pmdg never does this, even when there is so much cpu load it always remains smooth

Perhabs its related to their TCAS? I didn't notice such issues personally yet, but TCAS would be the one thing coming to my mind here.

@@A330Driver I don't think so... He often does this on the ground with the tcas turned off, and many other people have noticed this. I have a 3080ti (very expensive until a few months ago) and an i7. But I keep noticing high cpu loads while the video card is underutilized. I repeat with pmdg and aerosoft never stutter in any situation

happpened also to me and I missed the Pilot ID in the MCDU - yes, you need to specify the PilotID not only in the EFB but also in the MCDU Menu -> ATSU Menu - PilotID - I lost some time over this

I linked my Simbrief account, got a green for loading flight plan but MCDU does not have any Init Request option like on FBW - what am I doing wrong? Looks like back to the FBW version

Please pin this: if you can't do init request under the INIT page below "from/to", you must go to MCDU MENU and press ATSU, and set pilot ID there. you won't have to do this again so it's for first time users only.
