@@aSASa45454 Most of the time, it actually is. My family warned my aunt about scammers for over 10 years straight. Guess what she did? Gave her entire life savings to a scammer, anyways. And everyone in the family knew by then that she absolutely knew better. She got greedy and wanted to "double her money". She died shortly after with nothing but debt and my family had to pay for the costs of her funeral because of it. I'm really tired of people excusing the elderly when they are well aware of the dangers of giving money to complete strangers.

Feel terrible for her. To be scammed of everything has to be a deep wound to bare. I can't imagine just how bad that would feel. The shame, embarrassment, sense of loss and financial stress of it all would certainly be overwhelming.

This case even made it into our biggest daily newspaper today. The police in our country wouldn't have treated the lady so politely, I think it was very appropriate. But robbing a bank is still a very bad idea

that officer is an absolute Professional Adult who was raised right. the kind of guy that busts kids and instead of building a forever war with them, sits and explains things to them and shows them the way in life, making it clear they dont have to BE their mistake. id bet.
