Great video pal,she was retired yesterday (22/11) flew from Gatwick to St Athan We choose Virgin to Florida because of the B747's, sitting upstairs is something special, The last trip,a few week ago, Tinker Belle took us to Orlando Barberella brought us home.

Thanks pal I tracked her yesterday but was not sure if that was her last I kind of guessed given that destination, you are very lucky and honored to have been on this Queen am sure this is one you will never forget you will even be more emotional than me having experienced her recently before she retired yesterday. I will miss her pal. I think there is an A346 due in first december to cover.

I flew her on the 9th nov to Orlando, don’t think she did many more flights after that. Strangely on that flight to she had 4 pilots on the flight deck, was a smooth flight though I did think she was on her last legs. She had a fault delaying departure and the captain and two first officers kept coming up and down the plane looking out the rear windows prior to take off. She took a longer route to and avoided going over sea as much as possible. It’s sad to think these iconic aircraft will soon be no more...

So sad to see her go, I travelled on her several times between Manchester and JFK, and I'm fortunate enough to now own the life jacket from beneath the last seat I last flew in, so I guess I've still got part of her alive!

The engines on these sound wonderful inside and out. Shame this one never quite got a finished paint job. When I flew on barbarella in March I was luckily that it’s engines had been fully repainted by that point which made for some stunning wing views in the sun.

The average flyer doesn’t care about what airplane they are on as long it’s gets from point A to point B but to us avgeeks it’s sad that these magnificent 4 engine flyers are replaced by fuel efficient twins.
