Reyes. I use them quite frequently and for a long time. Yes they crack like all screen prints. These need extra care. Cannot dry hot and you have to dry inside out. This usually helps almost all the time. I sell about 100 tees a day for the past 18 years. Assorted prints like heat transfer and F&M and vinyl. All have there place. I have a little insert that I send with the article when I ship with washing instructions. That overlay was an issue and at least they made it right. I have used Dowling also and same situation. Drying is the key with screen prints.

Screen printed shirts have to be washed inside out dried the same way but on a low heat or air dry right side out. You also will get the cracking or peeling off because the press wash not at the right temperature, or not pressed long enough. Also be aware if it's cold peel or hot peel products. Screen printed shirts crack and peel anyway because you are putting something stiff on something that gives a lot. Proper care can make them last longer. Vinyl will do the same thing, as in pull off. I have had the top layer peel off and leave a clear under lay remain. It's all in the heat, temperature, pressure, and proper care that makes the difference in longevity. I've been doing this business for almost 15 yrs now. It's not easy or everyone would be doing it.

I always have a problem with F&M it ether peels or cracks on me. That's with their regular athletes formula and vintage formula no matter the pressure or heat it always ends up cracking or peeling. That and they always have miss prints in my transfers the alignment is always off. Also the customer service isnt always great the back and forth is a bitch. Sometimes it's not always about the refund. It's about production time with your own customers.

I ordered a sample pack from FM. I pressed the one color 15¢ deal on to a black 50/50 blend shirt, washed and dried it about 4 times and all is well. I'm happy about that... Hopefully they'll work that well if I place an order for my own design. I got 2 orders from silver mountain graphics. They were 2 color prints. My customer said that almost all of the shirts were peeling. I called silver mountain, and they told me to increase the pressure. I did that, tested a few, washed them, and still got peeling after one wash... I like the idea of the plastisol transfers, but this experience has kind of made me think twice ....

I fully agree, mine is of by a fudge factor of .92. Meaning if I want 350 degrees, I have to multiply that by .92 to get the real temp setting I need to get to the exact 350 degree temp. Never had a single one that was accurate yet, and I have many.
