I was privileged to live in a house that was formerly Bill Sharman's in Playa del Rey, not far from Dr. Buss's house My bedroom had been Bill's trophy room, and he must have filled the room with them. He is the only person as a coach to win championships in three basketball leagues: the ABL, the ABA and the NBA. And one of few to be in the Hall of Fame both as a player and a coach. What a legend with the Lakers as after coaching them, he spent the rest of his life involved with them as an executive.
