Cool, WP man. I started something like this a few months ago. Can you help me with attribute priority: End > Vig > Con for companions? I’m unsure what to max-should it be the bow skill (I feel like the "must-have" is 225 for the noble bow on horse perk) or 2H/Polearm? Right now, I’m doing something like: 10 Endurance (+HP is always good 😊), 7 Vigor (for attack speed), 3 Control (for the 225 perk). But maybe bow damage is more important? What do you think? PS. I miss the patch when you could get the "unnasigned" attributes companions :) (by recruiting them until mid-day after spawning)

@@diluviudiluvescu7753 the noble long bow is good but almost all my companions have the noble bow, it's slightly better in speed and accuracy but the damage is noticeably lower, you can pick up the +3 arrows per quiver tho which is also very good I only give them long bows if they're better than the basic one (balanced/masterwork noble long bow) about the skills to max, I go for endurance 1st because athletics and extra hp is op, high lvl riding is okay but less necessary after that just try to get vig and ctr to at least 7 to unlock all the perks and max out if you can (it's pretty easy on op kids but hard/impossible for some companions/wives

Im up too 25 compainions, most are set up one/two handed and throwing. A handful are bow/two hand. The bow and polearm combination your using look like the way to go.

@@GunMedalGleam "strat gaming guides" has made a great video doing weapon testing and slashing polearms seem the best for them, they're good both on horses and on foot, 2 handed weapons came in 2nd, but they don't work so well when troops are mounted two handed and polearm are also good since you can have an extra quiver or a stack of javelins, I've always loved 1 handed sword + shield - looks badass but sadly ai seems to be the worst with 1 handed weapons, the shield is useful tho, especially in the beggining when they have bad armor about your troops I wouldn't worry about choosing the wrong skills, if you play long enough you should be able to max focus points on multiple melee skills and switch if you'd want, and all melee skills have some passive perks that help your characters even when they're not using that weapon I wish you goodluck on your campaign, and sorry if I yapped too much 😂 oh and here's the testing video kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipCzfWNogtBoq7ssi=JlUhGumdlr3zGNZu

Wow, awesome battle. How did you find a castle to defend that only had 1 militia and 1 garrison? Well done.
