As someone whose been in more street races pushing 200mph in cars than I can remember I can confidently say these dude must have cut out in their seats to fit their massive balls. 700hp doesn't sound all that crazy anymore but most people have never actually driven anything with that much power. Losing traction at triple digit speeds because the power comes on is nutty in a car, on a bike? No thank you.

First is idiot drivers who don't look for bikes or don't respect bikers but secondly I grew up riding 3 and 4 wheelers, go carts, mountain bikes and jetskis then cars and I pushed safety to the limit on all those things and sometimes I ran out of talent or skill and lost control. When that happens in a car you have a shell around you. On a bike it's just you and the environment. Statistics don't lie man, bikes are more dangerous than cars.

I had a stock motor 08 R1 with full exhaust and minor bolt ons that I had set up to drag race and I was always amused that I was the only Yamaha at the drag strip. 750?! That’s crazy. I’ve rode in a 265hp 1995 Honda Civic, and that had me pinned to my seat, even 700hp in a Honda Civic would be so insane I can’t even put it into words. Judging from ET and Trap Speed, a 750 horsepower bike is about even with a 3500 horsepower GT-R (230+ mph and 6.5 to 6.3 seconds). The car needs 4 times more power to keep up.... but it weighs 5 times as much (total weight including driver/rider). Things are about to change rapidly, however. Electric cars are no joke... They can reliably run 8.2 seconds until they run out of battery (Rimac Nevera..... 1900 HP and 8.2 seconds). 7-second electric cars are next..... during the 2020s. The only question is when we are going to see 6-second BEVs.... maybe in the next decade, at the latest.

Pro Street bikes get my vote for the most exciting and challenging drag racing of all. 750hp through a contact patch with a little more area than a playing card, AND it can flip like a door hinge.
