I truly do love your setup. Very neat and very organised. I do have to say though, on the opposite when it comes to things in bags. One of the very first things I do when I buy an item that comes in a bag, is I get rid of the bag. I do agree that some things are better kept in the bag but boy oh boy do you save some time unpacking and packing when you get rid of the bag.

Thanks mate appreciate it. With the bags, for us, we move between the 76 and our camper trailer all the time. So having everything in bags makes it super quick and easy depending on which setup we are using. Grab a few bags from the trailer and throw them in the 76 and off we go. Really depends on how you use your setup. For us, bags make it really easy.

Inspiring. Thank you. Well done. An organised waggon definitely makes it easier and that much more relaxing. Take care.

Thanks mate. Yeah an organised wagon is a must. Nothing worse than struggling to find things.

Well set up, gives me confidence that a 76 will take as much as my current canopy setup.
@4wdadventurer4 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. Yeah if you can get the storage laid out well and have some good compact gear then you can get quite a bit in the 76. When we get the back seat out and make a few storage additions there with water etc it’ll then be tops for touring.

Organization makes for a fun trip. I went across the Simpson in 2019 with a mate and every time he packed his car each morning it was packed differently. I knew where everything was in mine and he would turn his upside down just to find a bottle opener.

Haha that’s the worst mate having stuff disorganised. A well organised does make any trip more fun. So much better when everything had its place and is easy to get to.

Thanks, really good to see how you packed for the trip, definitely investing in some canvas and bootliner bags
@4wdadventurer4 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. Yeah canvas and bootliner bags make a massive difference. So much easier to pack and move. After this trip and all the rough roads, nothing got damaged. They work a treat.

after a few days on the road, do another view of the setup, I dont think everything will be quite so right dressed ;) Take a photo and print it out and laininate it so you have a pictorial reference for packing back up.

Haha. It ended up being pretty good mate. It was more me giving my old man a hard time as he kept putting stuff back in the wrong spot. But worked out pretty damn good the whole trip fortunately. Just a bit of moving stuff around each day as things got used up.

Excellent setup, love. I set up my 100 series with similar ideas. Shows you dont need a trailer.

Thanks Mack. Yeah you are right. If you get storage right and carry the correct gear you definitely don’t need one.

Yeah 100% mate. After this trip we’ve decided a few more mods to come. Haha. Never ends. Back seat will be coming out eventually and permanent water storage. Hopefully get to the Jerry can mount on the rear bar soon as well.

No problem mate. Hit them up they are very well made and fit perfectly. I think they cost around $200 for the rear side windows and barn windows. Make a big difference with heat and added security with no one being able to see our gear.

Hey mate, how are the LED's fitted to the roof of the rear?
@4wdadventurer2 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. When we had the setup running like that, the one on the LHS was just the magnet on a steel bracket. The ones in the centre rear shelf, cut out the carpet to size and then glued them onto the ply.
