I'm new to the snow, I always wondered why people did not use this method. Thank you!!!! Now I have another reason to buy another Stihl product :)

These are great especially if you live somewhere more rural. In a city, you'll drive your neighbors crazy :). Still (see what I did there Stihl) these are super fun to own. Try rowing a boat with one of these, it's a blast. Cheers.

Faster, more effective than any broom, shovel, pusher or small snow blower. Genius.

My neighbor has been doing this for years. We live North of Syracuse NY. We get that light fluffy lake effect snow. He blows his cars and porch off. Done in minutes. Sometimes his driveway. Clever if you ask me.
@timbertimeoutdoors98362 жыл бұрын
Yes it works very well on cars and those odd areas that are hard to shovel or snow blow.

Another great thing is if you wash your vehicle in the winter time you can dry around the doors so they do not freeze shut.

Hi. I just bought one of these over here in Somerset England. Primarily for leaves, but I have a strange feeling that we are going to have a hard winter this/next year, so it is good to see what it does in the snow. Also, so my kids found out, it’s great fun if you use it while sat on a swivel stool. All the best👍🏾😉🇬🇧

What’s also fun is levitating a ball. You have to find the right size but most smaller ones will float in the jet stream from the nozzle.

I was looking to see if the 800 would be better for blowing snow than my 600. Seems about the same for light snow under 4 inches which is the max for me with the 600. 800 definitely looks to work better for a larger pile of light snow, but I would probably just use a shovel or snowblower at that point. Thanks for the video

Have you had any issues with the BR800X?

This is interesting. I wanna compare my Honda snowblower vs my br800X leafblower lol. Did you remove the air filter and change the summer mode to winter?
@timbertimeoutdoors98362 жыл бұрын
I did not do anything special for winter mode. I just wanted to show how this blower can work on snow. Has some limits. Wet snow doesn't work. Packed down will not work either but does a good job on fresh fluffy snow 6" or less.

У меня возникла идея сдувать снег с крыши дома , не подходя близко к краю . Вот думаю , не повредит ли двигателю удлиннение трубы до 3 метров ? Сопротивление воздуха и нагрузка на двигатель явно увеличится ...

So what I've learned from watching these videos is that you have to blow before anyone walks on it. Once it gets a little compacted, the leaf blower can't handle it.
@timbertimeoutdoors98362 жыл бұрын
That is true. Need to get at it when is fluffy and 3" or lest works best.
@adamscott51752 жыл бұрын
i’d be willing to bet it would most likely move more if you were to heat up the end and pinch the opening to make it more “slit “ like. just an idea
@middknightdream15772 жыл бұрын
From experience of blasting wet leaves off sidewalks the pinched end would make a huge difference.
