77 Year Old Tractor Spreading Manure on the Farm!! Farmall H This is the first time I put my antique tractor on the manure spreader. Will this 77 year old Farmall tractor be able to get the job done?

Just plain awesome 👌 Thinking Spring already. It's rough when you have no sick days or light duty days at work. I definitely can relate. Take care 👍

I am trying to think Spring too, but it was hard to while plowing 10 inches of snow today 😂 Thanks!!

Thanks- I think so. Still have some leaks with the hydraulic system, but overall she's running good!

Old farmalls really do run and work forever if you take care of them, will be interesting to see how many of today’s tractors are still around 70 years from now….. I guess Im not gonna be here to see it anyway. 😂 Good luck snow plowing today. 👍

I don't think these modern tractors will be running in 70 years, especially since most of them require a laptop to diagnose... Thanks- we got most of the snow plowed today. Hoping it washes away on Tuesday 😂

Man that thing fired right up!!! Hope your back is getting better!! That had to be rough walking back and forth on the shots headed down to the creek crossing, but very well done, even the trip back!! I wish I had access to manure local, would be very helpful!! No...I'm not getting cows 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you Mr Chris, I guess one day I am gonna have to come visit....the wife loves snow, that's all I have heard for weeks now 😁😁👍👍🤣🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸 The H did an amazing job, yiu have made that out to be a very sweet useable tractor for sure!!

Surprised me how well it started after sitting for a while. My back is doing OK. It was not much fun climbing on and off to get the different camera angles 🙃 We have over 10 inches of snow now, so come on up and enjoy it 😁 Thanks Nelson!!

The Farmall started the way it should. On cold mornings a M would barely crank, and it would fire. Speaking of 10° now. There's frost in the ground so last night's snow is here for a while. Thank you Chris. Definitely a pleasure to see how we did this again. We did put a heat houser on the Farmall we were using in the Winter.

Crazy how fast these old Farmalls start when they barely turn over! We got over 10 inches of snow here last night and spent the day plowing. Thanks Bryce 🙂

That's a great setup! 👍👍 I've spread a lot of manure with my H & 130 spreader. Usually short hauls on the property, as there are too many hills on the road between here & either horse farm.

Although manure id a good, cheap source of fertilizer it is not with out draw backs..... One being it introduces any weed seed not effected by digestion back onto the land, That is the main reason we ceased using chicken litter...... The Money saved is spend eliminating the weeds.... WE have enough trouble controlling the weeds that show up on their own.... I have a Farmer friend that I have known since the early 60's He has done it all and presently i in the commercial Hay business, but he sells only 4x5 rounds and is considered by all to be the best at growing Hybrid Bermuda Grass, He is always counseling my Son and myself on different aspects.... And like E.F Hutton, when he talks, We Listen!!!!!!

That’s about the only downside to the H, no live PTO

Yes, it can be limiting. I usually just use it to pull things. Thanks!
