We don't need no Ted Danson wanta be lol. i change things up from time to time, he is in the beginning and if you look I put him as the picture in the circle and took away my little mouse! When I was younger and living in California people used to get me and "Patch Johnson" (Stephen Nichols) from Days of Our Lives" confused. It did get me a role on Star Trek Next Generation that was cut!!!! Maybe I should have looked more like Sam Malone!

I retired from a job that had me driving 45 minutes each way twice a day. I had Sirus radio and would listen to these radio programs every day. Thank you for bringing them to us while we are at home.

Satellite radio was just being talked about when I used to drive truck back in the last 80's and 90, but the time i no longer drove, it has not come out yet. I had a tape recorder and I use to go to all the local library's in my county to get tapes. I used be be on what was called bulletin boards, today he call them forums and I would download shows and burn them to CD disks. I had a "Clam Shell" CD player. I could get one or two shows on there so it was quite expensive, in the mean time i could listen to AM radio and drive all night long listening to WBBM and I remember a California channel, one in Seattle and one in Boston that would play OTR. Once in a while if I was in the south East Id catch WJR. I got pretty good at it when one station faded out, i knew right where to go to pick up a different one. When all failed, i listened to Art Bell! When I could no longer driving and recuperating from an injury, I started serious collecting. I was on the internet the day it became available here in my area but i only had dial up, ok to download but not upload shows to a server. So I put up a server at my daughters house in the Metro Detroit area and all night long i could connect remotely and upload shows, if i was lucky i got 3 or 4 shows uploaded a night to the server! 35 years later and Im still uploading shows!

@@randydavis0047 I retired from the Navy and was then working at a government aircraft repair facility, I worked the night shift and sometimes on the way home I would listen to Art Bell. Frequently his shows would get creepy, but I love the old radio programs. I thank you for your service as a truck driver and for giving us these wonderful programs.
