I use coco fiber substrate mixed with heat treated woodchips , I feel the cypress can get too sharp n pokey.. just me.. I plant real plants in my enclosure so the coco fiber with soil goes well

So my baby sulcata doesnt eat much. Whats a normal amount for them to eat? Can they be kept alone or should i get him a friend?

They’ll eat usually a portion about 1/3 their size it depends on what you feed tho. They can be kept alone or with a few but Sulcatas I recommend being alone unless you have plenty of space to care for them when full grown.
