I have both, as I had misplaced my IIs. The IIs have an incredible bass performance. With careful handling if an Equalizer you get a great sound performance out, in many genres (I listen from folk, to rock, pop, jazz mostly, but also daft punk's early albums sound great) the IIIs just do not have auch a rich base and O just don't get them to keep up in this with the IIs. they are objectively good at mids an high frequencies, but really fall flat out the low end. they have fancier software, so my phone tells me their battery, their cable is objectively worse and they lost the on/pairing button and handle over the one big jog control the II have also, bit which gets overloaded that way. all around I love my IIs and would not trade them for any headphones out there. Curious how the 4s perform ...

coming from the “normie” bass heavy headphones, i would choose the major ii, because at first i even thought that there’s so little bass. but after some time i started to appreciate the sound quality, and got very pleased by it! maybe after feeling the major ii people would get the major iii.

Only downside for mm II is that you cant check the battery percentage that can suck from time to time for example one you forgot to take mental note when you charged it and when you've gone out on some kind of trip boom it powers off and you forgot the 3.5 jack and all of that because you dont know the battery percentage

The clambing force from the Major 2 is horrible... After 30min my ears were so uncomfortable and needed a pause. If the Major 3 fixed this problem (or atleast reduced the clambing pressure) I would rather choose those over Major 2!

Thanks for the reviews Aaron! Stumbled into your channel a few days ago and I like the content that's why I subbed. The monitor Bluetooth headphones are on sale for $124 on BestBuy here in the US. Which is half their retail price. After watching your videos on fake Marshalls, the price tag seems fishy. I can't check them in person either because they're only available online, however, Bestbuy is a reputable retailer so I doubt they'll sell anything fake. Any suggestions?!

i had used major 2 for 4 months and my friend showed me major 3 i tested it with the same options in my opinion major 3 are more comfy but they have so much less bass power than major 2 for sure i was using eq to give some more bass power

Does anyone know if the major III pads fit on the major II? My pads got weird and are sticking together, but they don’t have the 2 pads anymore. They offered a complete replacement if I do a ritual sacrifice of my 2, and replace with a 3, but that just seems very wasteful and not eco friendly. I’d rather just get a new set of pads!

If you are running in a city near the road, engine sounds, or places that have noise, you are better off with an IEM. This is tight on ears it might get you uncomfortable in long periods of listening. Sound wise it is not that impressive compared to other audiophile earphones. I would recommend 1MORE tripple driver. If you are more on the bling, then this is for you. Edit: sorry, you want a wireless, then Oneplus Bullets Wireless 2 is also good.

This is the amplifier activating when audio is being played. That slight hum you hear is white noise from it, quite typical of marshall headphones, likely because of how the sound was equalized.

The working time in the bluetooth option its the same in major 2 or 3, around 35 hours, you said about 50 but its roungh, its the same in bought of them, In the major 4 i just hope they came with memory card option, we dont need to spend phone batery for music, and with the bluetooth of with the memory card in maybe we get 50 hours of awsome music

I like that memory card idea. If they can come up with a way to easily navigate your music from a memory card that'll be great. The Major 3 does have shorter battery life than the 2 as described in the video. My reports on their battery life comes from testing the headphones at 50% volume on loop.

M3's fucking suck! I had the 2, used them at the gym maybe 6 times, and they started to short, I called Marshalls to try and get them replaced or even fixed they said that they don't have the 2 anymore, but they're going to upgrade me and do me a favor by giving me the 3. I was kind of skeptical, but I took them and the 3 are garbage, where the wire holds the headphone in on both sides the little round tablet popped out and now there's nothing holding my headphones together, and I only had these headphones maybe about four or five months before the first one went in the second one went shortly after that and I never even contact them because I was just so fed up with this crap. You spend all kind of money on a pair of decent headphones just have garbage!! Anyone else have this problem?

The sound quality in marshall the square design serie from wired to bluetooth has the same sound drivers.A midrange focused headphone with the sound that comes with closed headphones.for speak in noisy inviroment they can do a ok job since they are closed.the wired verson with female jack option on both sides has the crappyest female gold like jack intake i ever have used.Typicaly beside the unlinear bad sound the volum on the left starts to decline.Not problem with cable but the input jacks on the set itself.They where overprized.a koss porta pro made in a desent factory(a genuine set cost under half the prize is better and has a lifetime waranty.Have done audio gear since i was a kid.I am in the repair of electronic and see lot of garbage new from factory.Some toasters are lethal do to loose earth connection etc,and they sell this shit from before store,s store chains with reputation for quality have started just give a shit.It is a proof that evolution was a stupid unlogical idea.Evolv to the point of destruction of the only planet made for human life seems real "evolved "those energy saving led bulbs are a fraud.in the socket there is a powersupply and the led "array" made so poorly that they dont last 2 years. led can last 10 years easy.It is done to make a buck more while the customer and earth suffer.
