79 Year Old Rusty Chisel Restoration Ep2

I bought this Chisel from Japanese secondhand store. it's age about 80 years old . it have some problems such as the handle was decay and the blade was cover by rust . In this videos I have restored step by step and I replace new handle . I have clean and reshape the blade with new style .

Another very nice chair leg on a chisel. You just keep on trying to reinvent the wheel.

agreed. Turning elaborate spindles for a handle is foolish. That bulb near the front of the chisel will doubtlessly interfere with the chisel's ability to get into some spots, keeping it from paring flat planes. "looks" should not defeat useful.

Non capisco perché voler restaurare uno scalpello giapponese con un manico moderno e improbabile. Soprattutto se ha veramente 79 anni sarebbe stato più corretto dare una patina nera al resto della lama tranne hai punti di affilatura.
