Its a good enough budget option thats for sure. The only small downside I have found over my time using it is it weighs a lot compared to most other 60mm macro lenses. So not great to take on a hike or travel with.

It depends what mount you buy it in. Its available for most mirrorless camera mounts.

@@jamesandcamera thanks for reply James.I bought this for canon rf mount but only for Fuji and sony I am able to notice that lens barrel (hood)And this barrel is not for rf mount.I request you to do video and capture photo with that barell under water like inside fish pot or like that.Not now whenever you have time.

what do you think about buying this lens or jus buy extension tubes for my sony 35mm F1.8? also thanks for the video, i just trying to find macro lens for video works ^^

Definitely buy this lens. Extension tubes take a lot of fiddling and time to get shots just the macnification you want. A dedicated macro lens, even a cheap one like this saves a lot of time. More than anything just make sure you have lights with decent power. No macro lens or extension tubes look good with poor lighting. Also make sure you stop this lens down if you do use it. Wide open the image is not quite good enough. At f4-f8 is the sweet spot. Good luck ✌

@@atahate not sure havent tested the mk2. All I know is people say its slightly better ghosting control and is MUCH lighter lens. If its just studio use, I think the mk1 is fine. But if you go out in the field and do like bug and plant macro on walks then the lighter mk2 might be better
