Bodhidharma is a prince belonged to Kanchipuram which is close to the Chennai capital of Tamilnadu. He went on exploration to China, where he became a Demi god like figure. He was said to have powers like controlling the minds of people and also like earthly particles,wind and so on. He is considered to be the father of martial arts. This movie is based on this plot. The prince travelled to China, to help the people from a deadly disease and to teach them stuff. During his stay, he is teaching them kalari, which is ancestor of martial arts. And the people have decided not to let him to his country, considering it will be a misfortune. So they will poison him and bury him. Later to the current period, China will be using the techniques, taught by him and to declare bio war with the same disease spreading way back centuries. Having said that, they have to cure for the disease which was taught by Bodhidharma. How the Hero and his team is defeating this, is the storyline.

First there is no Aryan and Dravidian society. Dravidian word was first used by Shankaracharya to address his location in single word. Means south india where covered by seas . Aryans means civilized guys. Tamil , telugu, malayalam, kannada and Sanskrit are used language according to locals but kings know many languages. Tamil areas uses tamil, Telugu area uses telugu but kings uses Sanskrit and other languages. Upto known archeology evidence tamil is old. But some languages are used only for talking like telugu use for talking and mainly used for poems. Kannada is also used like that. Kings don't have specific language . Sanskrit is a scientific language and official to use in those days.it is easy to say national language in those days. Don't follow foreign fake theories of Aryan and Dravidian. Ok here's what this is all about Ken. This movie is called 7Aum Arivu -pronounced "Yail Aam Aree Vuu". The title if translated means The 7th Sense. This movie was originally done in the Tamil language, what you see here is basically a dubbed into Malayalam version. The movie is more or like a fictional Biography of real figurehead. That person is Bodhidharma or also known as Da'Mo. He was a tamilian prince of the Palava Kingdom. Bodhidharma wrote the ancient scriptures on Zen and Chan Buddhism practiced all over the world today. And he was also an accomplished warrior monk who had great talents in alchemy, herbal medicine, martial arts, hypnotism, and many others. He traveled all the way to ancient china, there he stayed for many years. He was the founder of the Shaolin temples in China. Certain parts in this movie is for dramatization and remains fiction. Especially about him treating the sick and fighting these barbarians, as per historic accounts, NONE of this ever happened. But Fact was he DID found the Shaolin Temples in china and he DID train ancient Chinese on the arts of Martial Art and Kung-Fu. So in a way, you can say that Kung-Fu was originally founded and created by an Indian. Weird ? But its true. Meanwhile, the Chinese made millions making martial art and kung fu movies all these years. The Indians resorted to movies with songs and them running around trees and singing. HEHEHE! LOL. Sad no ?

Please brother pallavas are not Tamil. They are north Indian Aryans who conquered northern Tamil land by defeating Tamil cholas. This was found through thiruvalluvars thirukkural. Through the thirukkural distorted Christianity emerged as shaivism and vaishnavism. So Tamils are real inhabitants who actually worshipped nature and then Jesus. But Aryans they distorted our history and made us accept their kings like pallava and also corrupted our kings like chera, chola, pandyas.

Martial arts were originated in India. When Bodhidharma was travelling across the eastern world they began promulgating. Due to colonial rule India lost the Martial arts existence. I thank Chinese for keeping it up🙂. Admiration from India.

He is a zen buddhist saint named BODHIDHARMA..... He was actually the 3rd prince of the pallava dynasty who ruled the kingdom of kanchipuram in india... Since he gave importance to knowledge from childhood He was an expert indian martial arts kalaripayatt which is said to be the the first and elite and base of every martial arts, he was proficient in ayurveda, yoga etc. And also mastered in controlling the five elements( one of the 8 asthamasiddhis) and also his concentration was heigh in a way that he could hypnotize people with look at their eyes. Since he was so proficient in ayurveda he knew the medical qualities of every herbs and plants and knew to make new medicines by mixing them..... When the rajaguru( kingdom's scholar and chief astrologer) said that a big disaster inthe form of a disease has been emerged in India's neighbouring country china and if its not stopped from spreading it may get spread 5o india as well. Since BODHIDHARMA is highly proficient in ayurvedic medicine he could stop the disease... So asper the order of the rajaguru BODHIDHARMA set journey to china on horse back and took years to reach their and on the course of his journey he became a buddhist.... The scenes of curing disease is shown here and he is the inventor of shaolin Kung Fu..... And he spread the idea of zen Buddhism and kung fu throughout the world
