Fun fact: Shallow became the most awarded song in history. It came out when people thought Lady Gaga couldn't make a hit song anymore, so it felt especially great to see her showing that she can.

One of Lady Gaga's close friends passed away before the filming of the scene at 20:04. She rushed out to try to make it and her friend passed minutes before she got there. Bradley Cooper had not expected her to come back and film but Lady Gaga came back because she knew her friend would have wanted her to and finished filming.

Some fun/interesting facts: Some of the live performance scenes were filmed at Coachella in 2017, although nothing was played on the speakers so none of the audience members could hear the songs and leak them before the film's release. Additionally, Bradley Cooper filmed scenes on the Pyramid Stage of Glastonbury Festival 2017 just before Kris Kristofferson, the lead actor of the 1976 version with Barbra Streisand. Bradley was also taught to play guitar by Lukas Nelson, son of Willie Nelson. Lukas also co-wrote several songs in the film. Ally being told her nose is "too big" reflects Lady Gaga's own experience, with her nose, her hair and her weight. Coincidentally, Barbra Streisand, who starred in the 1976 version, was also told the same thing about her nose and she refused to have surgery to change it. Jackson calling Ally ugly in the bathtub scene was improvised and Lady Gaga's reaction was genuine. Lady Gaga had to perform the last song "I'll Never Love Again" moments after she found out her best friend, Sonja Durham, had died of cancer. Bradley Cooper has been very open about his own addiction and he's been sober for 19 years or since he was 29. He says his experience made it easier for him to play this character. Lady Gaga has also been very open about her struggles with addiction and mental illness.

Gaga said she'd only accept to be in the movie if Bradley recorded the songs live with her.

Funny you mentioned that Bradley Cooper’s character reminded you of Eddie Vedder. In fact, the two are friends, and Bradley spent some time with Eddie to prepare for the role. You can definitely see the influence.

The music industry is a soul snatcher, Gaga's character started writing beautiful songs n the manager/label prob made her write "cool" or catchy tunes even if the lyrics are garbage. This movie is incredible, big respect for Bradley and all the hard work he put in acring, singing, playing the guitar, directing, imagine that. Gaga is phenomenal too. Great reaction

my friend michelle and i saw this in theaters bc i begged her to come see the movie starring lady gaga with me. we had no background knowledge of the other A Star is Born movies, which all end in a pretty similar way. this ended with me and michelle clinging together as we sobbed. I'll never forget how she said "you didn't say this wASN'T A HAPPY MOVIE, I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST GAGA" which just made me start laugh-crying bc we were both bawling. In retrospect, one of the funniest outings I've ever had with a friend, and one of my favorite movies.

This was a realy good reaction. It felt like you understood it. Many people, even when they like the film, don't realy fully underdstand it. They often only see the love-story, but not all the other topics and story lines. But the complecity is what makes so good. Depending on the person, who watches the film, the main character, the main storyline can switch. For some it's all about Jack, for some all about Ally, for some all about the music ...

this is one of those that i loved, but never could watch again. my dad watches this one so often and im like DUUUUDE, HOWWW? (my mom passed when i was three, so these kind of romance with tragic ending movies always kicked him) i started to think that maybe this one makes him think of her in another light. (plus i was a big gaga fan, during the start of her career, she was the first live show i traveled a long distance to watch) and dad got me that ticket. i was a gay androgynous fem boy back then, which always tilted dad. so i guess that now plays a part on his rewatches as well. how far we've came. this is literally the second time ive watched this movie. not counting hearing snippets of it in the background whenever dad watches it haha.

The 1st time I saw this, I was almost hysterical at the ending, it was so sad. Lady Gaga is one of my most favorite singers of all time, and it was funny that you said she put a little Gaga in it- she put a lot of Gaga in it- she couldn't help it, lol. She is also a hell of an actress.

Just watched a reaction on another channel and this came up as suggestion. I just calmed down from crying on the last reaction video, but I know I’ll be tearing up soon… this movie gets me every time. I already made a huge comment on the last reaction vid so I won’t ramble on much more. I will say everyone was amazing in their role. Bradley should have been given an award for his performance. Gaga was amazing,. Amazing chemistry. Even the supporting roles(no matter how big or small)were perfect…. But what really has me all over the place is Rez talking to Jack the way he did. I really wanted Ally to find out and confront him

I really wish I had gotten to see this movie when they rereleased it in theaters with additional footage. 🎥! Very much appreciate anyone watching this movie. I was so impressed with it & completely shocked by the story. It was supposed to be a casual outing with a new friend for me, lol, and I'm very comfortable crying when a movie is emotional like this ~ lol. I think she felt like she had to comfort me but it was such a well done cathartic release for me. I really enjoyed the experience in theaters. My mom is a huge "old movie" fan & I've been familiarized with many growing up ~ so upon discovering this was not an original after the fact, I was surprised. Subsequently seeing those original versions.... made me think about how different of an experience it would have been for anyone watching who knew what to expect. I am very glad I didn't. And I absolutely love this film. Seeing how they adapted it for a modern setting... just really blows me away. 👏 👏 👏 Incredible journey. Incredibly shot, performed & directed. One of my favorite films for sure. I honor the emotion you felt upon viewing ~ don't be sorry. That's why none of us are here alone. Great material to share. You never know who will be moved or inspired by your tears. 💧 I don't know you but I appreciate the truthfulness with which you allowed yourself to feel with this film. ❤ I think we all deserve a Hug now, after that! 🌟 🌃 🎙
