A very comprehensive review. I do find the silver bullets to harsh with my music genre, mostly rock, prog rock, nu metal etc, but absolutely wonderful with Kate Bush, Joan Armatrading, even Tears for Fears. I like the soundstage it offers too. Wondering if I could temper the forward mids / highs with a more bass tuned tip? I have the Timeless original and I find their out of the box tuning with the supplied tips pretty good, but hoped to get a bit more oomph from the Timeless II. I'm sure they can deliver! The AE reviews hinted at muddy bass, and that won't do. Any suggestions welcomed m

I wouldn't say muddy is the right word, but overstep? Maybe. I am not an extra huge subbass fan either so I wouldn't bump it up more than it is. I might try pulling foam from one of the other nozzles and try using two in the silver bullet. I think I wrote it and then didn't talk about it. If you have a source with a slight upper mid emphasis, that doubles down on the silver bullet also. Changing tips might move the peak also.
