Really enjoyed this one Michael..👍 At one point it looked like your feet were having a private competition with each other.😂 The ‘End Result’ is often overlooked in training. All drills should have an ‘end result’ component. The end result being a positive strike on the opponents goal. All else are steps towards this. One little ‘challenge’ I often did with players especially the strikers was to place cones in the goal net at various positions. Then I challenge each player to knock the cones out of the net. If they hit the net but the cone didn’t budge then it didn’t count. You’d be surprised how accurate players become when they are more focused.

@@7mlc Cheers Michael. I just remembered another great little drill I called Attack, Defend,Save. This had a GK in goal, a Defender just outside the ‘D’ with an Attacker with a ball 5m further away from the defender. On a signal, the Attacker takes on the defender and tries to get in a shot. Instantly, after each ‘attempt’ whether a goal, blocked or missed the goal, the Attacker instantly becomes the new defender, the defender becomes the new GK, and the previous GK joins the Attackers group as fast as possible and a new Attacker begins their try etc. This is a fun, fast moving but great way to simulate the match pressure players have to perform under. Attackers have to react instantly to defend after their ‘try’ to not give the new Attacker an easy chance. Also the previous defender has to quickly readjust to being the new GK etc. Have enough balls handy to keep it all flowing. I guarantee your players will have a great time 👍
