Another campaign game arrives, and I also ask myself the following question: Why do I keep buying all these campaign games if we never have the time to play them?

I love campaign games as well! I have waaay too many unplayed, but I have the same reasoning. I love them and one day I will get to them(hopefully :) ). My group is going through Oathsworn now and we love it. We go through it slowly (monthly) life gets in the way, but its a great time. I'm also playing Chronicles of Druganor solo. Love the channel

Thank you for the kind words! Yes, campaign games are hard to get through, but many of them are so awesome! We are going to do everything we can to actually finish Agemonia, which we have set up on the table right now!

I've played the 'fable' game _Fabled Fruit_ which is about as close as I'll get to a 'zillion-sessions' campaign. However I do buy quite a few games, & enjoy reading the rules & sorting the components.

Fabled Fruit was fun (we didn’t finish it 😅) I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of sorting and punching new games!

An inability to finish games is why I don’t back campaign games. I satisfy my urge by watching other people play on YT. If I find the game boring, I can wander away, with no guilt at having wasted money. I know I’m odd, but playing vicariously means I get the story without the investment.

That makes a lot of sense! I really want to make some plans to actually finish more of these games, but we’ll see how it goes!
