Ladies and gent how not to install a new part, intake vents that were removed provide more cool are as the car is moving. Never use a blowtorch on silicone, removing the splash pad creates more drag on the car since airflow under the car is no longer streamlined.

I did a short ram intake install on my 7th gen J30A. It really helps on gas milage. My friend who's 2JZ swapping his 350 gave me his carbon intake tube from it, cut it to length, got the filter, new coolant lines, and currently in the process in building a heat shield. None available that K&N can make but I like a challenge

did you ever make a heat shield i made my own custom short ram as well on my 04 v6 6 speed accord coupe hfp edition cant run a true cold air down in the bumper because it rains to much in Seattle but i do want to build a heat shield and i ant find anyone who has made one for our cars so i was curious if you made one?? if so id love to see some pics of the design you came up with

Got the v6 coupe red @ 250k only change was transmission at 200k and the starter at 249k. Very reliable cars 240hp stock

Got a hps short ram on my 2013 and soon on my 2003 as well...got k and n filters for both incase I put the stock box back on for snow
