It's not that deep. Just use the Gio, and if they don't potion, then u get the kill and if they do, then you have the other Gio. It just guarantees the kill, but if they didn't have the potion, then you wasted a Gio. It's a read that can go both ways. But in this case, it did the trick

Mogwai, I just wanted to say that I really love the offline gameplays a lot, you're more focused and relaxed compare to when there's a stream chat. I do like the chat banters but sometimes it's too much, I know it doesn't bother you and the teasing is just for funsies but for me it gets annoying sometimes so I do kinda prefer this video type. Anyways, thank you for always delivering really fun experimental decks on top of great commentary! You're one of the best Pokemon TCG Pocket creators for that alone. Keep up the good work! 👍

KOing that ev early on 3rd game is very important because it has several benefit: - 1 point. - it delays Flareon to come by 1 turn. - it makes 1 of the Flareon a dead card. Say they have 1 in hand, the next time they draw 1, it's a dead card. - it allows more room for Sabrining the bench later.

I thought aerodactyl ex was good but so many people think it's bad for some reason. I think people focus too much on the fact that it has an ability and ignore the fact that it's the same health as marowak, same energy cost and 80 consistent damage rather than a coin flip. And being a fossil isn't necessarily negative. Also fighting is just a good type

even if they do omastar ex i dont think its going to have the same effect or it would be a bit too broken (imagine 180hp 100 damage and opponent cant attack) but probably omastar itself will be way better when they add cards to allow you to search for fossil/stage1/stage2 pokemon

Because the new Primeape only requires one Energy, which makes it good regardless if you go first or second. The old Primeape is only good going second. Also this deck needs to get the secondary attackers (Marshadow, Aerodactyl) ready ASAP, which is not possible with the old Primeape that requires two Energy.

By the math, this fighting core lines up well against 130-150 hp mons. Its biggest weakness is eggs and Erika from what I've seen so far. Im loving the meta right now. We've seen so many cards shine in the past few weeks. The design team has done a killer job.

Let me give you a pair to work around. Lumineon/STarmie EX. 'Pivot for free, all you really need is two energy for each of them...however I feel like the deck realy needs more, for the moment I'm still running mistry and gyrados ex...but I feel like the deck really needs something different, so I turn the idea over to you to see if you cn come up with a decent finish to the pivot deck.

You can try golduck, it cost 2 energy to deal 70 damage but it only cost 1 to retreat and psyduck is good for trying to slow down the opponent with its ability to disable support cards

Is it a better option playing Primape over other base stalling Pokémon such as Kangaskhan of Farfetch'd and potion?

Primeape is 50 guaranteed damage for one Energy. Farfetch'd is only 40 damage and has less HP. Kangaskhan is much worse because it's usually only 30 damage, sometimes 60, sometimes zero, and you can't retreat it unless you have Leaf. That's not good for an energy-efficient deck that wants to be able to pivot often like this deck does.

Honestly this deck is what used to be Ninetails/Rapidash on S1. The budget fast deck. I see no reason to use Aerodactil. Those 4 spots could be used with something else. Been testing this and it is insane how broken this deck is. Quick wins on this build up meta. I removed the aerodactyl and tested with 2 potions and 2 poke flutes. And it is insane how well it has been performing. Hitmonlee can one shot magickarp on the back line with poke flute, Primape one shots all basic electric pokemons (hits for 70 on weakness), diglets, pidgeys, executes (50 hp pokes) when combining pokeflute and sabrina.

ive been playing the new AerodactylEX since the card came out. I play him with Machamp and just punch my opponent to death lol. It's really good and the ability does come in handy for slowing the opponent down. But, 2 energy for guaranteed 80 damage made him replace Marowak for me

I’ll have to check this deck out. I run my fighting deck with OG primeape, promo mankey, 2x hitmon Lee (because of all the gyrados & driddigon decks I run into), 1 blue, 1 gio & 1 Sabrina. I can’t tell you how often the blue comes into play with the self-hurt mankey 😂. Sounds energy starved, but it’s really not at all. Requires smart energy allocation though, pending opponent.

You were right to be concerned about the weird wording to enable the Marshadow's revenge attack. If a pokemon was killed by poison, I believe that it doesn't activate the bonus damage on Marshadow.

This deck has such good synergy, fast initial damage, revenge deal, bench sniping and low retreat cost. Aero's attack isn't too bad either. Wonder if there's any other pokemon to sub in for aero... Mew ex?

Don't understand why people think aero is bad. 80 dmg with 2 energy is crazy, and 140hp as well, not mention the ability. The only downside is it's not basic pkm, which is harder to find. But other 3 pokemon can apply great pressure, and sometimes aero is just there to be an optional. Yes, I think this deck is great of its consistency.

The Aero feels irrelevant in like 6 of the matches, but when it's relevant, it's downright oppressive. The Marsh, Ape, Lee core is so good. And fighting's energy flow is just so consistently good (except for brock builds lmao).

I have an amazing deck I have seen no one using. MACHAMP and PIDGEOT!!!! All of your energy goes to Machamp while using Pidgeot as support to bring back those fleeing crybabies that try to run away from DA Champ's megapunch! When it's necessary to build energy up on Pidgeot he even does 70 damage. Try it out.

What I've been doing is hiding my Lee's in hand since 9 times out of 10 I can give them active with energy the turn they're required. This prevents the opponent from knowing that they need to play around the lee

I used the new primeape, with marshadows, hitmonlees, and the new tauros in the majority of my climb to 45 wins. I've always thought 50 dmg for 1 energy was underrated. It deals with a lot of common breakpoints that farfetch'd could never reach even with giovanni, plus the fighting typing is amazing. I OHKO'd so many basic pokemons with this thing 😭

Battle against YY, you could have brought in Aerodactyl to finish Druddigon because your Aero is dead anyways. But then you could use Marshadow's revenge right after that on Hitmonlee to finish the game.
