Welcome back to another Product Challenge everyone! Today we are excited to talk about and put to the test the 8.80 x 31.95in Pseudo Hand Everslick Deck! Whats the deal with Everslick?! Everslicks are the fastest sliding board out, period! Everslicks are also 5x more resistant to center focus breaks than a normal deck, so with our unique graphic application process, you can expect your graphic to stick around longer than ever before. Slide Further - Slide Faster. If you do not grab this one to shred, be sure to grab one to add some flare to the walls at home. This 8.8 deck also features a 14.25 wheelbase, so if you're looking for a wider board that can flip around a bit faster, you've come to the right place! We put The Big Dog himself Santa Cruz Skateboards Brand Manager Andrew Cannon to the test with THREE different challenges on the manny pad, euro gap, and bank to ledge to find out how this setup skates! Let us know in the comments below which product you'd like to see us test next!
This weeks product setup:
8.80 x 31.95in Pseudo Hand Everslick Deck
159 Erick Winkowski 159 Stage 11 Hollow Independent Trucks
56mm 101a OJ Wheels Elite Urethane Mini Combos
Bronson Speed Co G3s
7/8ths Indy Allen Bolts

I just got this deck in today. I love the artwork on it. My riding days are numbered so Im def not doing any tricks but I agree. The shorter wheel bases always seemed a little easier to handle as far as flips go

nice one could you please elaborate on short vs long wheelbase ? pros and cons as I'm quite new to sb since last year (while spending my young times skating that was not a topic of interest..) thanks 👍
@AndrewCannon
@AndrewCannon 2 жыл бұрын
Of course, A shorter wheel base is going to make it easier to turn and to get your board around. When the wheel base is longer, it makes the board more stable - think about a longboard, when you ride a longboard it's really steady but you cant make nearly as quick of a turn as you can on a shorter board. Does that help at all?

I find short wheelbase better for Switch 180s especially bs & high ollie, but you can get better flips with longer length.

this sounds good but i think i'd want more nose, 7"+. my widest board right now is 8.25", i used to ride 7.5"-8.125" in the '90s and 8.5" seemed unrideable back then. i'm 6'3, 230, size 12 shoes, and i really like the extra width and stability. i'm much more about the comfort and quality of the ride than anything else these days. i think i'd like the extra strength and stiffness too

I was skating a bank next to Java Joe’s in OB in 95’. And some kid who was grabbing a coffee asked to grab my board. He would Ollie grab/ full extended judo and finger flip land. I kept on making him do it and he’s like “Man it kinda hurts..lol”. Then 5 minutes later some kid was like Rob Roskopp was just skating here. I was like ‘Whatever’.. Just never put it together that the kid that used my board was him until 15 years later! 🤣
