Great list. One to add as a great punk bassline is Paul Gray on The Damned's Waiting For The Blackout. That bassline has everything!!

The Undertones debut album is IMO one of the 15 greatest punk albums of all time. And Hypnotized is just as good. Adverts Crossing the Red Sea is a GREAT, underappreciated early punk album. The Saints' (I'm) Stranded is also one of the 15 greatest punk LPs of all time. And Eternally Yours is just as good. Don't sleep on Prehistoric Sounds either. Not as punky but it is really excellent. Damned are great too as are Stranglers. OH YES! SLF Inflammable Material another of the 15 greatest punk albums ever. And Nobody's Heroes, while not as incendiary as their debut, is more melodic and is great!! Was lucky enough to see both the Undertones and SLF on their first tour of America in a tiny out of the way club here in Manhattan NYC. When I bought Inflammable Material and played the first song, Suspect Device on my system I literally jumped out of my chair and screamed YES!!!! It was everything I could want in a punk song. Thanks for this video. Very enjoyable and your playing is terrific. If you'd like to read an article I wrote on punk, just google "The Top 15 Punk Albums!"

Amazing ! One of your best videos so far ! (Okay... this may not be objective). I always found punk music from the first wave had incredible bass lines and melodies. Thank you so much for this video.

Holidays in the Sun is said to have been ripped from In Tut City by The Jam. Not played using Doritos as percussion (were they even around in dem daze?). Silly Thing also said to have been ripped from Teenage Kicks by The 'Tones.
