This guy might feel that HE'S too old but because of its "aerobics" type of exercise, ie walking around the table; stretching; figuring angles, etc. This sport will keep anyone whose "dedicated" in descent shape, physically and mentally. Efren say it was going to scratch and put his tip in the pocket to stop it. He knew it was still a loss of game. It's just something that players sometimes do a little out of frustration. It's like putting you hand in the pocket to catch a scratching cue ball.

Accu-stat, you need to use broadcasters that stop to take a breath once and a while. All they did was ramble on, and on. I don't care what they think the shooters are going to do. They get Efren wrong most of the time. I turn them off so I can watch the match.

@@MrKeith75 My guess is that it's a foul regardless of whether Efren touched the cue ball or not. When it's that close of a call, you can never be sure if he touched it or not and Efren shouldn't have had his cue anywhere near the ball. I'm guessing that rule is to prevent disagreements from players that will put their hand or cue near the pocket of a potentially scratching cue ball and then pull it away at the last second. It's better to just never do this. Just let the ball go in the pocket if it's going to. Efren should know this.

Johnny Archer bothering Efren in the middle of his shot sequence. Efren subsequently missed his shot into the side pocket, Johnny went on to win the rack. Johnny is like the John McEnroe of pool, just keep bothering your opponent until he can't concentrate anymore. Don't you think that the referee would have stopped Efren if he was shooting out of sequence?? The shot clock is a conspiracy against old school players. This is turning into a circus for kiddies.
