■ Everyone have different ways of experiencing other countries. Some love food. Some love shopping. Others like to sit on the beach and stare into the ocean without as much as saying hello to a single person in the country they've just flown to. Point is, if Simon doesn't want to try the food that's his prerogative. There's no point making every comment section about how he only eats at McDonald's. I too love McDonald's Burger King etc and eat fast food on a daily. Just accept that we don't all have the same priorities when abroad. At least he's keeping it real by speaking his mind.

Also, I see that Simon gets a lot of negative comments in here - I think he's a good contribution to the Mexico series; with the funny reckless driving, dressing up in traditional Mexican womens clothing and fooling around. I won't lie that I kind of find it weird that he doesn't wanna try all that different delicious food, but like Harald said, we're all different and we have different preferences (doesn't make him a bad person). He respectfully said no thanks to the fruity stuff and I can accept that. Let's be nicer guys, because I'm enjoying the fuck out of this Mexico trip!

I honestly think he was overwhelmed by the experience. Not many travel like Bald or Harrold, so carefree almost looking for trouble if there is any, whilst Simon is a typical Brit attempting to break out of his bubble but struggling. Then because hes been given so much shit for struggling it has resulted in complete shutdown! No food or drink unless its a big corp from America or Europe...definitely a bit of a shame, but each to their own!
