nice video. Just picked up a 2020 Scott Speedster Gravel just under $1,400. Like Giant, I got more bike (hyd. disc, shimano grx rx400, Schwalbe G-ONE tires, etc.) for a great price.

what model did u get? I'm looking to get the 30, it seems like the 20 is the same other than 11 speed instead of 10 speed, but a couple hundred more!
@jasonmiller58014 жыл бұрын
@@charliemccloskey8358 I hope this finds you well. I have the 30 model. The difference between the two is the GRX system. The speedster 20 has components which is comparable to a shimano 105 setup whereas the 30 is comparable to the tiagra. As a new cyclist, I came to the realization that the 30 would be a great entry to mid level bike for me that I wouldn't outgrow too quickly. I have now had this bike for three months and I still highly recommend it as you get more bike than most others at this price point.

Hi, thx for great video. I am looking for a rather racy gravel bike. I am coming from racing bike and I just want to go off road a little more, but I don't need so much mtb option. Which one would you recommend.?

Pleased to see the DB Haanjo made your list. I bought a 2016 Haanjo Trail on clearance in 2017. Similar to the one you showed, but has an Ultegra level drivetrain. My most comfortable riding bike.

Having caned a State Allroad 4130 for almost 6000 miles, I'm surprised to not see a 4130 or 6160 Allroad on the list. Great bikes.

I’m thinking now: NS Bikes Rag+2 or the Canyon Grail. Any thoughts? Cheers!
@CycleTravelOverload4 жыл бұрын
Depends on the type of riding you have in mind? The Canyon Grail AL 6.0? Canyon is 700 grams lighter. Option for both 650b and 700c. Mechanical disc brakes on the Rag+2 and Hydraulics on Grail. 5 mm wider tires on the Rag. Not sure about clearances. Rag has a 28.03” granny gear while the Grail has a much better climbing gear with 24.32”.. so much more to touch on. :)

Devinci Hatchet Sora G - aluminum frame with 3 water bottle mounts, carbon fork, internal routing, max 700x45 or 650 x 2.1, 48/32 (although mine came with 46/36) and 11-32. $1299 USD

It depends on what type of riding you plan to do? Mostly off road gravel? bikepacking? Or just as a road bike with some gravel here and there? I personally prefer the Rove with a bit more upright riding position for adventure cycling! Wider tires, wider wheel base. The trail on the Revolt is on the higher end (stable to sluggish area), while the Rove is more in that mid range (predictable/responsive), they both have a mid range chainstay length (rove is slightly longer) The Revolt is more to the quick/all-rounder feel at the rear. While the Rove is more Chill/all-rounder. But the Rove will be heavier as a all steel build. I like the idea of carbon forks which the Revolt has.. With the current Revolt 2 setup you get a 25.83” granny gear compared to the Rove’s 26.54” (Revolt slightly better at climbing) then Kona has the Rove AL 650 (2021). Which comes with a 2 x 8 Claris.. so much to get into.. :)

I own the 2020 Giant ToughRoad and love it ! I teste the 2 9ner RTL aluminum frames with high end components and the giant is way way way more comfortable with the carbon fork and the defuse seat post .. sometime I think I have a flat from how much it helps to absorb bumps .. it does run in the heavy side because of low end components buts it’s fixable .. and it also takes 700x50 tires unlike the revolt .. good review man 👊🏻

Hey, why not just list bikes from craigslist. Don't use clearance prices for last years bikes. It's misleading. Half the bikes on your list are not actually under $1500.
