I have never heard anyone else, but the lady in this video pronounced Indianapolis the way she does. She pronounces it as Indiana, followed by polis. Most people in the US pronounce it a indian app ol is or indian nap ol is. I lived in the Indianapolis area for most of my adult life, first ariving in Indy itself in 1971 after high school graduation to furter my education at a technical school. I left after that graduation from that tech school, but returned to Indy when when the economy and the job market brought me back. Over the years, with changes in employment, I lived in several areas in Indianapolis and two of the suburbs, Greenwood and Carmel. I lived in apartments in all areas, except Carmel, in which I owned my house. Watching this video gave me price tag shock. I could never have afforded the apartments I lived in in the in Indy neighborhood that borderered Carmel or the one in Greenwood. I also don't think those apartments are worth that much money for rent. My house was $184,000 when I bought it in 2002. I sold it to a flipper, and he did some remodeling of it, and he sold it last year for over $400,000. So I know the video is correct in the prices. I did look into apartments rents before I sold my home, and at that time, I was seeing about $800/ month. I moved out of the state, but if I were to return, I would never be able to afford a home in Carmel unless I won the lottery. That is too bad, because I really like that city.

Yes, Carmel is beautiful

Don't bother with Greenwood. Live in the northside burbs. Way superior. Not even close.

most of them have their own versions of downtown especially fishers, carmel and noblesville of course they are not going to be as big as indianapolis but they are suburbs not major cities I travel alot for work this is pretty common suburbs will have their own smaller version of a downtown

Geist is not really a suburb it's technically just the neighborhood area around the water so I would take that off the list and cicero is too country and too far most people in the city probably don't even know that exists so I would take that off then put in brownsburg and avon
