So, I've looked at a few of your videos. This one came up in my feed, and they're pretty good books. Your channel is called "Orthodoxy" so I figured, hey, this is worth a dive. But man, I have to say as glad as I am that you and others are being exposed to these ideas, these works, and some real depth, it's a little frustrating. All of these books are really quite simplistic versions of what the Catholic and Orthodox churches have been saying for hundreds of years. Typology through the covenants? That's... the whole Mass, and you miss the most important part; the Eucharist. Tolkien's dogmatics? They're not Tolkien's... they're just Christian dogmatics. Did it really take Packer to introduce Evangelicals to the centrality and pursuit of Holiness? Five Lies... are we just now figuring out the Theology of the Body and the Incarnation??? I don't know, maybe I'm being uncharitable, but I'm not trying to discourage you. Go deeper. Go higher. "Further in and higher up" as Lewis says in The Last Battle. It really is encouraging I suppose to know that Evangelicals, baptists, Presbyterians, Anglicans, etc. are rediscovering Orthodox teachings. But they've been here the whole time. I pray above all that we may be one. Come home.

Though the same, as an Eastern Orthodox Christian. Don't know why but this video was recommended, and I though it was an Orthodox Christian channel, but that beard was a bit short for my comfort... Then I realized this is a Evangelical type channel, and I support Prots diving into these lines of thought. Hope and pray for you guys to discover ancient Christianity, the kind the Apostles and Apostolic Fathers taught.
