Thanks! I intend to practice these. My training partner and I will be using belly pads, just touch kicks to get used to the movement. Even the accumulative light hits you do, might have some form of effect in the long-term.

That's an interesting thought. If you look up Wolf's Law it says that small micro fracture help make our bones stronger, but I don't know if that applies to our organs. Kyokushin and other karate practitioners seem to think it helps. Something to look into for sure.

A V I’m not sure what the name is. I learned it from a Karate instructor years ago so I’m sure there’s a proper name in Japanese, I just don’t think I learned it (or remember it anyhow).

Its usually referred to step up (insert name of kick). For a karate guy it would be step up mawashi geri
