Also, there was supposed to be Spider-Man 4 Video Game that was planned in the Summer of 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC by Radical Entertainment, Nintendo Wii by Eurocom Entertainment Software and Nintendo DS by Vicarious Visions. But when the Spider-Man 4 Movie was officially cancelled in January 2010, the Movie Tie in Video Game also got cancelled as well.

Dead good this mate. A decent Daredevil would’ve been good. The Ghost Rider style Castlevania game looked like a really cool idea too. Such a shame we never got that THQ Avengers game...4 player co-op would’ve been superb.

Another great cancelled games vid, man! This was a great theme topic to cover! Seen a bunch cancelled DC games over the years - everything from Bottle Rocket's The Flash to Double Helix's Justice League - so it's great to see a nice little round-up of canned Marvel titles; especially since there's a lot more from back in the day to talk about. Even with the lack of good media for stuff like Ghost Rider, Mind Games and Marvel 2099, I find those kinda fascinating just because of the period and hardware they were targeting. Definitely don't know if they'd be fun, but all those 2.5D games are all just pretty unique looking in-action. I see a lot more J-Stars Victory Vs or JUMP Force in Marvel Chaos than Power Stone, honestly. Seems like EA Chicago should've looked at games in that sort of "anime free-roaming fighter" mold to figure out how to do that kind of fighting game, because Bandai Namco's been pumping those types of games out FOR AGES! It really just seems like pure incompetence on EA Chicago's part there. I mean, Def Jam ICON sucked too... and Marvel Nemesis wasn't spectacular either. EA just didn't know what to do with fighting games OR Marvel. Not losing sleep over that one's cancellation :) THQ's Avengers definitely did look brilliant though - when THQ went bust, I was really pissed off that that game got canned as well as WWE Brawl (now _that_ game definitely had a Power Stone vibe, speaking of). I recall a lot of Australian studios getting shafted around that time because of the government killing off tax breaks for the game industry, so besides THQ's financial difficulties, the writing was on the wall for THQ Aus/Oz and Blue Tongue and everyone else there. Seriously, 2K, EA and a bunch others offed their Australian studios around the time; KROME was practically obliterated too (though at least they have _a few_ people still around, remastering the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games on Steam these days but little else). Bad times. Lotta good games got killed.

Thanks mate! Yes, I was reading about all that in Oz at the time. I believe the exchange rate at the time didn't help things either, so with everything considered the Aussie devs were getting paid more than anywhere else. Avengers does look brilliant!

Chaos and Secert Invasion appeal the most to me as being a comic book fan that really feels as if it puts you right in the heart of the action. Im less a fan of the Marvel films. Love the What If concept in Chaos too, I remember seeing that comic book series and thinking what a great idea ! Excellent video, was unaware of all those being canned for whatever reason 😁👍😄

gta 5 has awesome mods for Captain America Iron Man Thor Odinson Spider-Man Venom Hulk Doctor Strange Superman Flash Magneto Green Goblin and even stuff like dragon ball Z mod I'd love a open world game like that where you had the freedom to just roam around and use the characters powers Man

Ok so all I can see looking at that version of Ghost Rider is a pumpkin not a flaming skull! 😂 Another great cancelled games video Pete and that X-Men one at the end did look a bit naff. However this has put me in the mood to play some classic Marvel games! Looking forward to the next!

They should have moved X-Men: Mind Games to the Saturn instead, I think many 32x games (prototypes and released games) would have been better on the Saturn (like Knuckles Chaotix or Spiderman). Anyway, that Ghost Rider game looks just like Fantastic Four and Iron-Man/X-O Manowar for the PSX and despite the fact that they aren't exactly the best games, I enjoyed them back in the time!

first game reminds me of Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects, since it's an arena based fighter. I probably wouldn't have picked it up. X-Women however looks like they were really getting into the MD and Genesis in terms of what you could do and they looked great. Kind of wish someone would fine the beta files for this game and release them.

I really wish Spider-Man Classic happened, since as good as Shattered Dimensions is, Web of Shadows is the best Spider-Man game other than SMPS4 IMO, so I would have loved to see what Shaba Games' next Spidey game would have done with the character and the great gameplay from WoS.

The Daredevil, EA's Marvel fighting game and the 2099 game looked all genuinely interesting and would have been good games if they were finished however the rest....no...especially the terrible looking 32x X men. If they were doing X Men on the 32x why did they not release Konami's excellent arcade game.

Since i was teenager I went on internet stuff was discovered sometimes ago. ‘Marvel 2099 Game’ where the developer find out has faith and closing game development in production and left their Marvel 2099 produced game within following by Mindshape financial troubles funding and gained lower money, Leading the game development has failure worked Marvel 2099: One Nation Under Doom is soon after its abandoned. When i grew up of Young Adult, I have finally to picked up with Marvel 2099: One Nation Under Doom approved with interested analysts, details, design and general stories and few comics book. Documentation of game design development. I have now reworked to Marvel 2099: One Nation Under Doom into Indie Comic Book Series. Following my under labels ‘James-Taylor Productions’ with Marvel 2099 Indie Comic Book, I’ve getting hype lifetime and came out about 12 months, Which would have James Emirzian Waldementer Software Co. publisher collaboration between independently individuals company ‘James-Taylor Productions’ based from the original game and Marvel 2099 comic book series. Considering of longest produced time with brand new revamping and redesigned of Marvel 2099 and changing game into graphic comic book. That would to be production budgets are 23,000 Thai Baht (Brought art tools and papers stuff) equals to 730.87 US Dollar.
