You can’t even use switch stick if you’re on the line: it will do finesse moves. But any backer and db the switch stick applies

Cover shells are key for defense you need to put your players in position to make tackles. Pre-play coverage adjustments And utilizing conservative tackling with strip ball at situational times are also a good practice to incorporate in your game😌💪🏾

I'll try this! Thanks. Bought this yesterday, I've never been great at these football games, I totally admit... I had the setting to the "easiest" (think it's "Freshman?"), but that was TOO easy, absolutely dominating a few games I played. Setting it to the next harder level, "Varsity?" Wow...I totally sucked! 😆 Playing as Penn State, I threw 6 INTs, ..sad offense. (I did get a safety.) Score was already 34-2 by halftime. I turned it off...lol. Cool game, MUCH faster than Madden which I love...just a learning curve for me right now.

Not sure if I am the only one here seeing this but on the setting where you can prefer to receive or kick the ball to start the game, I have had that setting to “kick” and “against wind” since game release and I receive the ball more times than not.

Defensive switch assist is key ppl used to always ask why when they switch to a db he stops running always said cus defensive switch assist is probably off..that and heat seeker are key!!

idk about that switch assist thing. i’ve had issues with it on more than off honestly. it will always switch to someone i have no idea who then i some how take a random guy out the play to leave a wr wide open it never fails. i’ll even be rushing th qb and switch players and i select a random cb i cant even see on my tv so idk who i even selected and boom someone is wide open!

You have to go to manage files and save settings. Its super weird. No prompt like in the older games when you back out. It's a completely separate tab. I believe its in the "Create/Customize" section. And if you're saving roster, you have to give it a new name if you can. When they update rosters it saves over yours if you don't change the name.

I still have issues with switching defenders. Mainly when I try to switch to a defender closing in on QB. I'll try to switch to them to get the sack but it will switch to a defender and take him completely out of the play. Pisses me off 😂

I tried conservative on the QB option and my defense froze for like 3 seconds and the HB ran for a TD straight down the defense when I pinched my front 7. It froze them waaaaayyy too long.

Auto flip pisses me off because it doesn’t flip the safeties…. Just their responsibilities. I wish my SS would flip to the other side to play the hook/curl instead of playing deep third. It actually turns both safeties into hybrids and plays them right and left instead of strong and free. Been burnt by this so many times.

Had me until the kick setting. That's a total preference thing, not a must have setting change.

Everything is technically preference but it's definitely a bigger advantage getting the ball in the 2nd half. If you're up you can start controlling the clock immediately while trying to add points. If you're up 7 and you can bleed away an entire quarter while adding another 3-7 points you make it very hard for your opponent to win. If you're down you know you have to up the tempo and get back into the game quickly. If your opponent gets the ball to start the 2nd half, he has those advantages.

They are not supposed to, that way you don't have to set them every week.

They only reset if you end up signing a recruit or get locked out from a recruit. Then those hours invested go back to you. Or you can move hours around manually that are already placed onto players.
