One of my favorite channels and one i recommend to anyone getting into time lapses is a small channel called "Black cat 3d" they are a very new channel and have just started making time lapses of all the different things they make. The channel is super nice when responding to commens and i feel they should have more subscribers and support.

My only question is, how do you shoot this type of time lapse?
@michaelhobbs47649 ай бұрын
Octoprint is a platform that allows you to connect to your printer via a raspberry pi. There are many advantages to this including adding a Raspberry Pi camera where you can watch and control your prints remotely through Octopod. You can schedule photos by time or layer change, and even have the print head move out of the image for each photo. You can also add AI to watch your prints and stop them in case of stringing, thermal runaways, and fails. Can be a bit daunting for beginner level, but lots of helpful content out there to push you along your path to remote access and time lapse vids. Aloha.
@The_Mole5 ай бұрын
@michaelhobbs4764 Some Klipper based printers do have that feature included - and of course, vendors offer overpriced webcams as accessory, if you want to unlock it.

I have tried many things, and I have noticed that you have changed from the stock Elegoo PEI bed to some other one. I would really appreciate it if you could name the brand of the PEI bed you use. Your prints always seem to stick well which is a dream for me!
@WildRoseBuilds Жыл бұрын
The stock bed is actually just as good! I unfortunately fused some petg to mine and marked it up quite bad. Give it a really good scrub with hot water and a sponge then a wipe with isopropyl. The one I switched to is an ultistik brand one

@@WildRoseBuilds Interesting! Maybe the one i got is defective? Or maybe my filament? Appreciate the feedback, again, love your videos.
@truantray Жыл бұрын
Set the first layer height lower, and wash the PEI with soap and water. Isopropyl just dries oils back down to the surface. But for prints with a smaller contact area, a thin layer of glue stick solves a lot of problems. Also, you can increase bed temp to 65C for PLA and 75C for PETG.
