Kid Icarus getting a new game in 2010 was a real wild moment, specifically when it came to the game's surprise announcement. Donkey Kong Country Returns being revealed in the same show got a pretty wild applause, but Kid Icarus was a different scenario. This was basically a Half-Life 3/Duke Nukem Forever scenario where it became a running gag prediction. When it actually happened, things got wild.

"My Body is Ready" is amusing, yes, but here's the thing: It was the only amusing moment in the entire 2007 conference. People like to point out how comically bad 2008 was, but at least that was entertaining in its failure. 2007's was just dull, and Reggie saying something amusing was like an oasis. When you can't manage to make the incredible Super Mario Galaxy or a new portable Zelda interesting to watch, you're doing it wrong.
