Bandipur and Mudumalai are contiguous tiger reserves, one belonging to Tamilnadu and other to Kerala. There is a 3rd tiger reserve called Nagarahole that abuts Mudumalai and Bandipur. As for tiger sightings, your best odds are in Nagarahole in Kabini or Nanachi gates. Bandipur and Mudumalai are a bit difficult to spot tigers. And you are pretty far away from the Malabar coast which is around Central to Northern Kerala. Malabar cuisine is very famous and a unique cuisine of Kerala.

@@LaviandOllie When you're that close to a wild elephant, you have to pretend to ignore the elephant and keep moving, otherwise you can make it nervous. If it gets nervous, bad day for you. And if you manage to really annoy the elephant and still escape, it might lash out at whoever comes along next.

14:27, they have a sheltering camp sites specially to treat elephants from ill, wounded from carnivores animal attacks and separated young ones. The big ones are sheltered and trained for building new sites around them.

Horses and pigs on the loose might be expected, but pine trees and carrots in India! Not expected! When you're riding at elevation there's only one way to go I guess and that is down! Hey Lavi & Ollie, I’m not a guy usually drops in a comment… I’m pushing myself to do this though I enjoyed thoroughly binge watching all your videos of india season in a day.. Lavi your infectious smile and super energetic Ollie.. much ❤ guys!! I must thank and appreciate you being so humble, accepting and appreciating varied culture, class of people and places.. I’m sure it is some time overwhelming when ppl come for pictures, road traffic and cleanliness... but I have never seen u guys sulking, complaining or blaming.. in the trend of many English creators have fancied to make negative thumbnails and titbits to attract views and comments.. you guys are spreading positivity and smiles everywhere.. Being a backpacker from Bengalore India.. just an input as per my observation, I would have stayed in Varkala a night (best beach town in Kerala) and on the way do bird statue.. also explored outskirts of Ooty for couple nights at-least which is 200 times better than town in self even considering the fast internet, same way I would have stayed in Bandipur forest reserve cottage for a night which is 3k for both( experiencing a night there is unreal, there are 3 resident leopards and 100s of deers comes to rest within the campus during night) and great conversation with forest staffs would have given you guys more insights on ecology and would enhance your safari experience..I was there here this weekend too. I wanted to say this as I love you guys to have the best and realistic experience in our massive and mystic India.. hence please please try dig a bit more in research or just take some inputs from travelling community locally.. Apart from this!! Can’t ❤ u guys more!! Wish u the best for your future journey.. and off-course wish to meet u guys but seems like you not making to Bengalore

Your videos are beautiful. I love it. Watching all your india tour videos. Small advice for you, please dont stop beside wild animals. Especially when elephants are there. Bcz you dont know if they are in good mood or bad mood. And if you saw tiger sing beside road. Please dont stop. Bcz most of the indian tigers are man eaters. And they attack bikers frequently. Best of luck for your journey. Have a great time in India. This is a beautiful country, people are lovely,caring. Most of the world have negetive impression towards Indian. I hope you enjoy here. Do visit Derjeeling, Sikkim, Dooars in West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Spiti. These are to most beautiful places for a biker. ❤❤

Basically the early morning rides between (mudhumalai-bandipur) or vise versa lots of wipd animals (wild buffalo, Elephant, Deer, peacock, wild boar, Tiger,monkeys,Leopard,Porkypine etc**) could be spotted.. Please try the Mysore masala dosa..Enjoy and safe ride..

Ohh my goodness. I thought you would miss this entirely. I commented on the other video. I am happy that you followed the route like this. What about Masinagudi, did you get a chance to see that? The problem is, it’s really hot these days in Kerala, so it’s not that beautiful as it is in Monsoon season. I am a Keralite who lives in Pune, Maharashtra. Let me know when you guys come down to Pune. There are good places near by, like Mahabaleshwar, Lonavla etc. during monsoon, it’s amazing. Just another suggestion to keep in mind. Love your videos and adventures. Check out Meghalaya too. Beautiful destination.

Love your videos guys. I went to Ooty about a year ago and it was really great. You can also visit the nearby settlement of Coonoor. Its more peaceful than Ooty as its less commercialized and it has a lot of military history sites

14:20 There could a elephant rescue place near by. Elephants are no more used for logging in India. At the rescue center they do different exercises to keep them busy and healthy.

It is a place where Kumki's are kept - Retired Kumki's are also lodged there. Google for Theppakadu. Once a year Elephants from temples are sent there for a couple of months to rejuvenate.

Go for coastal ride from mangalore to udupi to murdeshwar to gokarna and then to goa. You will love that riding with sea on other side.
