It's a great video, you feel sad and laugh at the same time. It was very funny that Lavin jumped on you and used you as an airbag, I would be lying if I said I didn't feel sorry for Bumblebee, but it was a solid motorcycle and God protected you, I think this is a great success and a great experience, you fought against all kinds of weather conditions, animals, roads and You returned to your country in one piece. We love you and our prayers are with you. I hope you will embark on brand new adventures soon, take care of yourself, I wish you happiness, health and money.✌🏍

I think you should carry a ratchet straps a hammer and large tent peg to ratchet up the bike when it has fallen or an airbag

Resiliency is the key. I use to practice on sand before the race season (motocross) would begin. The technique with riding on sand is to go fast. Believe it or fall.

It was funny revisiting how timid you both were with the bike in the early days, but you conquered it in the end. It’s a big old lump of metal for some of the terrain you rode. I’ve got an 230kg Africa Twin for fast UK road riding, but I use a little 175kg KTM 390 Adventure for solo off road riding.

My comment retyped, I suggest a enduo for off-road practice and around town use before another tour, there great for off-road practice and still street legal, great for town use, good on gas,a full road bike would be required for touring,

None of these were really crashes fortunately, they were all just basically falling over. You did incredibly well overall because thankfully you didn't have a serious crash. If somebody offered me 550 days and crashes of that calibre I would accept it immediately lol😂

A little bit, or maybe a considerably amount of money would have gone as well into the equipment if it wasn't for the kind and much appreciated donations along the route (helmets, side cases, tent, sleeping bags and so on). When considering this kind of adventure you have to consider replacing some of your gear. Nothing last forever and you never know what the next mile will bring. 😊

You guys choosed the wrong bike . You should have pick't a bike like a scrambler . I followed your journey to Chile . But I've already lost track of how many times you've fallen of your bike . Good luck in Canada guys . But if I was you guys . I would trade in my bike for something more manageable !
