Scott Frost used to shoot out of shooters in Wichita Kansas,that is where he started playing.Gabe Owen was also from Wichita Ks.

Why aren't they taking the cross-corner bank on those long spot shots from the jaws of the corner pockets? Too much of a scratch risk?

it's a real low percentage shot and very hard to control whitey. It's surprising (to me anyway) how often the pros pass on spot shots...must be something to it

Still, it seems like they could at least get the ball closer to their pocket and the cue ball up-table, a more aggressive shot than putting the object ball up-table.

possibly, but it sets the cb pretty loose and can leave the return cross corner.."better the devil you know than the one you don't" I guess

Dark Knight Dennis is the guy to beat worldwide now. Toughest action in any room any table so deliberate rarely misses. I think 🤔 he missed more in this match than I’ve ever seen you see how Scott celebrated after that 1st game? And just think Scott 6-0 vs Efren.

For all you younger guys who read this (under 65)...you can belive this...these two clowns, wouldn't have made it playing one pocket in the between 1965-1980.. there must havce been 40-50 players who would butcher them; and by these anouncers, Frost and Orcollo are susposed to be top caliber players in 2018...it appears that I didn't miss much getting away from the game for 35 years
