@@miamiwax5504 I was hoping more snooker players would go in the UK Open that Matchroom started holding, but not many had interest. I think Gary Wilson is the only one going in for June 2023. There's tons of English players in it though and I haven't heard of any of them. They're not Ultimate Pool pros either.

mistakes are very unforgiving in 9 ball. You make a positional mistake in snooker, you can just do a safety to the balk cushion. You make a positional mistake in 9-ball, the whole match can be over.@@shamus3477

@@toziassmitt if you watch the breaks, you'll see that most were hit well. Yes, there were one or two which were hit poorly, especially the two by Gareth where he scratched into either top pockets. However, only one single ball was missed outside of that. One ball in an entire match and every other rack was either a break and dish or a reverse dish. I don't know why you seem to be very upset by me claiming that that's a fantastic standard. It is, and as I said, it's one of the best ultimate pool matches I've ever seen. I didn't say its was the best. Tim cousinis and mick Hill have nothing to do with this match. So yeah, it was a top quality match, only one ball was missed outside of the break offs, take a chill pill, touch some grass, idk, smoke a joint and blow off some steam, sounds like you could use it

@@James-C-Callan 100%, 6 ft tables are ridiculous, you'd be surprised what a difference a 7ft table makes, it's the standard comp size in aus, going back to a 6 is like childs play..... american tables are larger again, but so are the balls so it tends to even out imo lol.

I wonder what some form of pool would be on a snooker table - could possibly even have a larger 21 ball rack for example.. but retaining the tightness of the pockets would make a very interesting game, I think.

Why do so many people get this wrong? English pool pockets are 3.2 to 3.5 inches, 9 ball pockets are at least 4 inches, not to mention the curved jaws make corner rail shots much harder than on an american table @@antoinecringemann

I’ve never seen so much concentration on any snooker player or pool player when at the table. I’m u huge rocket fan although this is pool. That’s a world class snooker player at the table selby just doesn’t miss. Great game by 2 world class players

Selby has played pool years before this. He’s not just some snooker player who’s just decided to play pool for the first time. Even with pool you need experience as the angles and cushions react differently to snooker.

Ive watched garath play chinese 8 ball. Great cuest more like a snooker player. But tbh he seems boyish compared to selby. Not my favourite snooker player but like him more and more nowadays. This shows his pure perfection.

😂 lol Gareth was just having a bad break day! He has been selby’s training partner for over a decade and they both don’t know who is better! I’ll say that focusing on Chinese 8 ball has made him a bit more one dimensional than he was in his early years! But definitely a legend of Cue sports in his own way! Mark just does everything easy…I think it’s just the snooker touch and control!

Gareth said a few years ago on a cue school video 'play the break with stun to leave the cue ball in the middle of the table so you have more options' now almost all players play the break with screw.. i have no idea why

They don't play with that much screw even though it seems like it - if they did the white would be like a pinball back up the table and back down. It's a smaller ball. Even just playing plain ball and the white comes back towards you.

Why do all the pros play backspin on break leaving them vulnerable to potting white im not great at pool but it used to always happen to me potting white when playing with backspin so i instead play just a tiny bit above the middle and white rarely goes in
