I originally made this mold for a penguin/owl squishy but I was so impressed by how many suggestions people had for it on Instagram! So I decided to make as many as I could. Each one only uses a tiny bit of paper clay and would look pretty cute as charms, keyrings, jewellery or pencil toppers. There are definitely many more animals and characters you can make using this basic shape. Also, since I know someone is going the mention this in the comments, the "8 minutes" in the title does not include the intro and outro sections which is why the final video is longer!

Hi! She probably replied already, but if not, I think doing it like she did the cherry one would work! Just make the shape a little bigger, stuff and close the sock. Then, using black thread, stitch these pumpkin lines. You want it to have a dent in the middle, so stitch the thread a few times back and forth while pulling on the string, so the ball turns into pumpkin shape! Since the pumpkin as a stem you’ll be sewing on, it doesn’t matter how messy it looks! That was a rough description on how I would do it, I hope it helped in any way.. :D

to be precise, that sumikkogurashi character is called "Penguin?". He thinks he's a penguin, but his favorite food is cucumber, and he has vague memories of a river and a plate on his head... All of these things are related to the Kappa. (which isn't a turtle, but a sort of water goblin with a turtle shell, a beak, and an indentation or plate on top of its head that's filled with water. If the water spills out or dries up, the kappa turns to stone.) Side note: there's also a character called "Penguin (REAL)", who is actually a penguin, and is almost identical to your little penguin!! (And there's "Tokage" (meaning lizard), who is a baby aquatic dinosaur that pretends to be a lizard so he doesn't get captured, and he's friends with "Tokage (REAL)" who is, of course, an actual lizard.)
