Congratulations Blake ❣️. He's absolutely beautiful 😍. I kept Paracyprocromis neon blue for 2 years and I can say that as long as you can give them plenty of cover, the fry multiply really well. I started with 10 and sold over 70. I had them in a 20 long with rocks and caves mostly up one end and lots of elodea and Val up the other. I'd catch the fry out and keep them with my cherry shrimp till they were big enough to sell. Loved those little beauties!

Most of these fish need fairly hard & or alkaline water conditions (except the angel and the bristlenose plec). Are there any other easy breeding fish for soft / acidic water? My tap water is very soft with almost no hardness or KH so harder water fish require much more work for me to keep.
@BlakesAquatics Жыл бұрын
Endlers are probably the only livebearer that will handle soft water, other options then head towards celestial pearl danios, zebra danios and other egg scatterers (i sell a 3d printed device that makes this super easy). Apistos as well but be mindful they take a long time to raise up to sellable size

Man I wish I could find some advice to figure out an easy way to tell if I have male/female dwarf rasboras since all the online guides have proved to be useless. The people that want to know won't be the ones that have had them for months to a year and seen the coloration change, but more the people that go to a store and ALL 100 are the same colouration and you decide to take maybe 6-12 home, then ask yourself those questions 🥲
@BlakesAquatics11 ай бұрын
It will be impossible. The difference is slight. Fenales larger and rounder males smaller and more slender
@ragingcalmness781511 ай бұрын
Thanks for your time to answer this man, much appreciated 😎 I might brave the ice and the snow to go grab myself another 6 to be on the "safe side" they are very energetic little fish!@@BlakesAquatics
@BlakesAquatics11 ай бұрын
@ragingcalmness7815 if you pick 10 and get them to get the 5 smallest and the 5 biggest thats a fairly safe bet
@ragingcalmness781511 ай бұрын
mighty good tip right there, i didnt think of that! thanks man, will definitely do that 😀@@BlakesAquatics
