Join Meg from AIM Fitness for some leg strengthening exercises, specifically for your knees and hips. Over time as people age, they lose strength and muscle in their joints. Maybe you've had a hip or knee replacement, or maybe you have arthritis or pain.

Ann from Liverpool, England. It's my hips which bother me as I have osteoarthritis in both. I have been doing these exercises for 6 months now and my pain has significantly reduced and I no longer need my walking stick. I am 68 years old. Thank you so much Meg.

My third week of doing your exercises! I can't tell you how much relief I've gotten from hips so tight I could hardly walk! I actually got out and pulled weeds from my flower bed this morning. It's been quite a while since I was able to do that. From Birmingham, AL USA.

Hi Meg, Just did this workout tonight. Feels great! Since I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis and because I tend to feel discomfort in my hips at times, I would love more hip exercises. Thank you so much for caring enough to provide these free videos for us. I'm watching from San Diego, CA.

Thanks for the strengthening exercises. I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis of the spine and have quit pilates and started walking daily. I am happy to add these stretches to my routine. I live in Prescott Valley AZ

I’m watching from Los Angeles. I’m close to 70 years and was diagnosed with osteoporosis which surprised me because I do a lot of walking and from time to time I do Zumba from You tube videos.

#1: Carol here, Richmond, VA, To begin, thank you. For two weeks, I’ve been working on “Morning Stretches;” then “Knees and Hips”and last “Balance.” Owing to two surgeries on left ankle (plantar fasciitis + Achilles tendon release, 2004; compound fracture, 2010), my right side has been compromised. Right side severed rotator surgery 2011; now stiff right hip, right knee. I particularly feel a bursitis-like pain along the right neck, trapezius, down around shoulder, and tricep😮. I can walk 1200-1800 without pain in the ankle and foot repaired with a steel plate and screws. So, I am proceeding with gentle steps, adding recumbent bike (20 minutes) and exercises for bursitis pain. Your osteoarthritis program has already begun to make a noticeable difference. Thank you so much for producing such a valuable series. As I gain strength, at age 76, little-by-little, I will add on more strength training in your program.

I am 83, live in Southern California, I have osteoporosis and this is my 2nd watched video from you, I really like you I will be a faithful follower, my husband helps coach me. 👍🏻 Also over the past two years I have shrunk from 5’6” to 5’2.5. In some exercises I hear bone noises in my lower back. ?? I am not able to lift my right arm as high as my left b/c of mild degenerative changes in my acromioclavicular joint. My doctor ordered Fosamax but I don’t want to take it. I am taking supplements, watching my diet and will do the weight bearing exercises. Thank you very much. Pat PS: I had hip replacement surgery 1-19-2023, slipped, had a bad fall.

Oxnard California. 73 and trying improve bone health so I don’t need to take meds for it. I just started arimidex to keep breast cancer from occurring. I don’t do well on biophosphates so I am trying to concentrate on more specific exercises for bone health.

Hi.John from Ireland.Just sfter watching your video. I had a hip replaced in January and am about 70% happy with it.i have damage in the other hip which held back my recovery. I am overweight and do a lot of physical farm work.i doing some of those exercises and am determined to loose weight.Thanks for a great video as my knees are starting to stiffen also.
