Dr. Chua, I’ve had several vitrectomy surgeries, retinal detachments, in both eyes and in resulting in cataract surgery also in both eyes. However, after the cataract surgery my left vision was success, however, my right I am having problems where objects are much smaller or further away. The doctors tell me that it’s not the cataract surgery but problem from vitrectomy. But they are not sure and they say that there is nothing they can do anything for me. I wanted to know if I can get another opinion from you.

Can you make a video on uneven eyes? What causes one eye to be more tired and droopy than the other? How do u prevent it? My guess is overuse of mobile phones, since looking at something close to ur face forces u to overuse one eye. But I dont know.

Good day Dr. Chua. I would like to ask about a specific problem I'm tackling. For context I'm 21 years old, diagnosed with wet macular degeneration at 15 years old (left eye) and at 17 years old wet macular degeneration on the (right eye). I have high myopia. Q1. What are the flashes i see on the sides of my vision? like sides of peripheral vision. Q2. What are the circular flashes in my central vision? (It's like small dot to large dot, reddish color flash then to white) it's situated at my central vision where my macular degeneration is at they're not blood leaks. Thank you.

After the shower my left eye lashes always feel tight, sometimes i think i have a stye or pink eye. But then it goes away in a day but days like yesterday and a few times before, a long hair will come out either directly from my eye or lashes stuck in my lid.... Actually, i get lashes all over my body but my skin will hurt for days and sometimes feel infected.... Then hair comes out . What the heck can that be?

My 1-year-old has both strabismus and nystagmus as well as retinal scarring. Caused by multiple strokes, from high blood pressure he had due to further complications at birth. I have an issue I haven't sought help with yet... it started 8ish years ago with maybe 1 migraine a year I'd lose the vision in my right eye completely, 20 minutes tops. Since having my son and getting up in the night with him, it's a 50/50 if my right eye will work, or if not completely it's like I'm wearing a dark sunglass lens over my that eye. Get up the next day it's absolutely fine. Eye or brain?

Even though you have had issues with your eye and migraines in the past - if it has worsened or new symptoms you should get it checked out by a doctor. Pregnancy does a number on us - any changes in vision need to be checked out too. I have had migraines w/aura since 5 yrs old but when something changes - I still get checked out. There could be a number of reasons for your issue besides migraine aura and all of them would be a reason to see a doctor.

Do you have vision problems or blurry vision after? Optical migraines can start s floaters. Now, i have a piece of cornea of something hard to see that no doctors noticed until i tried contacts on and kept wiping a hair that was floating over my nose but nothing was there. So the doc looked and was like "ohh look at that! U see that? " Im like "im swiping and blowing up my face like a nut, here ." Contacts didn't work well anyway but that was annoying so it can be a bunch of things... Mostly common unless other disturbing symptoms follow. I think. Im not eye doctor
