I agree that vocalremover works well, and is truly free, but it was a tie with Acapella Extractor for me. The rest either didn't sound good or were charging.

Thanks these sites are getting better with the usable separation. The Lalai one was the best quality in my opinion. I will get the free downloadable one to use offline and I'm sure with some tinkering I can get good results with it as well. Thanks again.

Lalal is the best for me, I can extract the instrumental. It's cleaner than other websites. I think 2nd best is vocalremover. Wish they could extract noise from live music too. Thanks for making this video. Note: it's cleaner when I uploaded in mp3, not video format

The other free option is Audacity, either using the mix with the inverse method, or Audacity's vocal isolation.

I'm looking for one that cuts out each instrument. So I can hear just the base line or the lead guitar or just the piano or just the saxophone. Or just the voice. So each musician can know their part. I hate that no one reads sheet music anymore. Everyone plays by ear but lacks the ability to write down and score their songs.. example INXS when you have an orchestra backing your song...without the violins and saxophone their song "Never tear us apart"
