Appreciate the kind words! I'm not a programmer by any means but I have noticed that there seems to be a lack of entry-level tutorials when it comes to anything "github" for non-coders, so what may seem obvious for people in that field, typically goes over my head. So I decided to learn and make the kind of tutorial I wish I had for UVR!

I like that you don't take other peoples work for granted. People invest their time and resources in all kinds of things. A lot of times we tend to just use the end result without asking any further questions. In a world where we value each other/each others effort we should follow your example and at least try to notice the effort or give sth back if it's for free. Much love.

Thanks so much! Glad to find out it works well with deathcore vocals as well. Phenomenal tool

Tip for max/min spec if you don't understand: Max spec is used in order to get the fullest sound but you can experience more bleeding from the other track (if you use max spec for vocals there's a higher chance you'll get hats in your vocals). Min spec is the opposite. You get a less full sound but also less bleeding. Hope that helps. Edit: If you have min/min or max/max, the first before the / is for vocals, the one after is instrumental. So min/max means min - vocals, max - instrumental

Dang is that good. I've tried pretty much every splitter there is, and this is almost unmatched. My usual tough test tracks (Nightwish - Nemo for example) get separated extremely well. Not quite "original master tapes" yet but getting closer. Just ran MJ's "Thriller" through it, and both tracks are near studio quality. Just wow. ABBA's "Chiquitita" is also almost indistinguishable from the actual master. Extremely clear vocals, no artifacts, no changes in brilliance etc. Instrumental has a select few drops in brilliance (what I call "veiled sound") but a lot less than from comparable splitting software.

During the pandemic I had to record an entire program and it would have been so much better if I had had a mic just enough to bring out my voice. After a huge effort to record this, I found the result very disappointing and videographers was an amature so he didn't know what to do. What I really would like to find is a prompter so that I read the lyrics during a video recording, especially if was easy to use.

I want to pinpoint smth out, that u had wrong in your overall great video: Regarding the Ensemble algorithms (max specs) Basically this is all u got to remember. Left side = about the Vocal stem/output Right side = about the Instrumental stem/output Min = less bleeding of the other side/stem (into this side/stem), but could get sound muddy/muffled Max = more full sound, but potential it will have more bleeding Avg = average, so bit of all models combined
