It says on Rich’s salon website (ultrafade salon) that hair services with Rich are $140 per hour….given that this is an 8 hour transformation, as a best guess, this session is easily over $1000+ …..here in Australia hair colouring and styling services generally cost a fair bit. That being said Rich obviously has done an amazing job & he clearly deserves his success 🙏🏻

Dreadful shame to damage such healthy hair. She will need further treatments to keep the colour as it grows and this will completely destroy her hair, she will then have dried out over processed hair, like the many customers he has. Madness.

What makes me chuckle, is the thought of explaining this look to an older relative, like: "No, no, I just went to the salon yesterday! What do you mean it looks like it's a 7 month old grown out, washed out dye job!?" 😂

And? She probably have the money for such high maintenance hair and know the risk already. Bleached and coloured hair are able to be hydrated and shiny when you treat it well, anyway. Great hair masks and hair oils are available out there. Who hurt u? Life choices?

Hi Rich, please would you use your 'influence' in the industry to change the industry (at least starting in Australia)? I'm from a family of hairdressers and had no interest in going in to the business, and am horrified to see such waste in the hair business - foil, plastic containers, chemicals, etc. Please can you raise your voice against the companies you work with to lower their plastic consumption? I'm disappointed the business has been so slow to change. Thanks.

When your using bleach to lighten hair, then putting on a color, your color is going to fade everytime you wash your hair. Because your hair is way to porous. The hair cuticle has not been closed for the color to accept it. Here's a little tip you can do. Take a strand of hair (one strand) use your index finger and your thumb. Start at the bottom of your strand of hair and go up. If you feel it's bumpy, that means your cuticle is open. Just a little info from a retired hairstylist of 35yrs ☺👋
